I used this cable to directly connect a Roku Streaming Stick to the house internet. Since the cable has a micro USB connection and the Roku connects to its wifi receiver/power cable via a mini USB connector, I also purchased a female micro-to-male mini USB convert connector, plugged in the cable to internet, power, and Roku, and viola--I had converted the Roku from using wifi to using a hardwired connection! Note that the Roku wifi/power cable I replaced also houses the remote receiver, so I cannot use the original remote anymore, but instead I use my phone with Roku app as the remote now.Also note that the micro-to-mini USB plug convert connector must be able to handle power--but not all do--and I found this out the hard way. Using a JXMOX converter, the connection worked initially, but failed within a week (and the converter itself was hot). So I got a different converter (ChenYang mini to micro USB convert connector) and have had no problems with it for over a month, with it powered and connected all the time.Conclusion: very satisfied with this cable!

Internet provider still controls speed even when you hardwire your device (sic)

It took me a long time to figure out that there was nothing wrong with my Fire Stick that couldn't be solved by stopping the microwave, but every time it was running, the streaming would get intermittent, and web pages would take forever to refresh, and everything wi-fi became low-fi. Then I noticed that this gadget existed, and I ran a Cat6 cable to the back of the TV and hooked it up to this, and voila! No more slow connections while inflating a bag of popcorn! No more error messages saying that the content is unavailable right now when heating up dinner! Everything's fast!

I was very disappointed that this product did not work with my Amazon Fire Stick. So I ordered the Amazon Ethernet Adapter for Amazon Fire TV Devices. THAT WORKS RIGHT A WAY once I plugged it in.

Funciona a la perfección, buena compra. Recomendado. Quizá compre otro, solo compre 1 porque no estaba seguro que funcionaria. Al usarse se inhabilita el control remoto del Roku, se debe usar de ahí en adelante la App de Roku como control remoto. De ahí en fuera todo bien ya que convierte el Roku WiFi en Roku con ethernet, parecido al Roku Ultra que es el único con ethernet. Adicional se necesita un adaptador de USB micro a USB mini

Fire TV Stickを有線LAN化したくて購入Fire TV Stickの電源は入るが有線LANは機能せずまた、形状が違うものが送られてきて振ると中からカラカラと異音が。。。原因を究明すべく自己責任にて解体したところ本体内部のパーツが割れていたのが原因正直、お勧めできない商品でした。

I have a fire TV with voice, it even says it on the box. Plug it in, and didn’t even recognize it. Checked my RJ45 by plugging it directly to my TV. Checked my hub for traffic when connected to the firecable ethernet adapter and nothing. Don’t buy it for a fire TV with Voice, it does not work.
