The battery compartment is poor and the batteries kept falling out. It works very well now I have padded them out in the compartment but the first couple of days were very frustrating with poor connections and working intermittently.. Now i have it set up it is good.

Checking for problems with hearing aids

It’s OK but not exactly what I was looking for, as it isn’t like the one I lost, which had a better magnification for me. The good point is the way it can be lit up or not.

Great value but fiddly to use. For occasional use only as a travel item. No substitute for a proper magnifying glass.

Bought to read some small print. Almost too strong! Plus, you have to get in really close (and the image is NOT inverted!). Like the lights, batteries included.

I bought this to 'trace and track' microscopic bugs on my herbs and veg.I could see signs of bug damage but no bugs.Once I was able to examine leaves with this, a whole microscopic world was revealed - and all its inhabitants including spider mites and thrips, and other minuscule critters that were sucking the sap from my plants.It's a neat little gadget, lightweight, small and portable. The lenses and light easily slide in and out of its own protective case. I have this marked as a Christmas present for various people - gazing into microscopic worlds becomes quite addictive and educational, especially for children. So from tracking down my plant killers to discovering an awesome little tool that I never knew I needed until I bought it!
