Life changing
I have four pairs of these boxers, so I don't wear them every day. But the days I wear them are invariably better. These are so damn comfortable. I sleep better when I'm wearing them. They're great in all weather (so far). I plan to buy more. If they were cheaper, I'd buy a gross and never buy boxers again. Since they're pricey (for underwear), I'll buy a couple pair, here and there, to replace my archaic cotton boxers. On a sidenote, one of my pairs developed a hole. I emailed Minus 33, and they sent me a new pair. They didn't need to do that! They might not always do that, but I very much appreciated the courtesy. It's good to know my money is going to a stand-up company.Splurge on these expensive, wonderful boxers. You won't regret it.UPDATE 9-10-2013Sadly, I can't recommend these boxers anymore. All but one of my pairs have developed holes with normal use (and within four or five wear/wash cycles). I wash them according to the instructions, and lay them out to dry. They seem to be wearing out where my pants pockets and waistband rub on them. They're so comfortable, but too delicate. Also, I have four pairs, all the same size and style, but the actual sizing varies widely. One pair is much tighter than the others, and is wearing more quickly. Minus33 stood behind one pair of holy boxers, and I'm guessing they'd do it again. I think, instead, I'll wear them until they fall off, and then try to find a new favorite. :(

Excellent, but worth the investment.
I purchased a pair of these to test against my standard Adidas compression shorts for hiking. 28 miles and 26 hours later, I have a good idea of what's up with these:1) Odor? Nope. After trucking 19 miles in one day in 80+ degree weather, I didn't smell. At all. And it wasn't easy terrain, either.2) Chafing? Nope. No body glide, no problem. Didn't chafe a bit.3) Durability? Not really. Theses babies are ridiculously thin, although extremely comfortable in terms of temperature and general feel against the skin. But for $30 I would at least expect a pair of boxer briefs to feel like they could handle a lot more punishment. The sizing is also very strange. I, thankfully, guessed right and snagged a pair in XXL for my fat self (38W). But wow. Guesswork shouldn't enter the equation at all. They're good, don't get me wrong. But they lose a star for easy sizing, and they definitely lose a star for not feeling durable in the slightest.Update: I now own three pairs of these. As someone who regularly destroys underwear, these are standing up to punishment better than I had ever expected. They're still pretty expensive, but I'm now at a point where I don't mind it so much because of how awesome they are. I now wear them daily- I rotate throughout the work week, with an additional pair of First Lyte merino boxer briefs. Squatting, crawling under houses, squeezing into tiny attics and standing in parking lots for hours in the heat of the Gulf has taught me that they're worth every penny on those days where I'm literally standing or sitting in a puddle of sweat and still don't have any bad smells coming from down there. They don't ride up (like pair of cotton boxer briefs I've ever owned), the waistband never, ever digs into me, I don't chafe. Between these and a good pair of Kuhl shorts, I may be miserable due to the heat. But I'm never miserable due to my clothing choices.

Big guys worried about chafing, stop here.
Okay, so you're trying to search through reviews to find out if these are going to work. I did the same. Here is my story.Okay, so to begin, I am a larger guy. I am forty years old and around 250 lbs. My inner thighs rub together, and I have to wear boxer briefs to prevent chafing and rashes. Boxer briefs, on longer hikes or walks, will typically fail eventually. I end up with a rash anyways. I just have to stop for a day or two to let it go away and heal. I've used Body Glide and other things; it's just hit or miss. Now, on to my nightmare. I recently decided to take my family on a surprise Walt Disney World vacation. This vacation was in the middle of July, in the Florida summer. We're talking three full hiking days of 95-degree heat, and 90% humidity. Panic sets in. Now, I live in South Florida, so I already know what to expect, and as a larger guy, this trip terrified me. How the hell was I going to handle three full days of walking around Disney, and not end up with rashes between my legs after day one, that prevents days two and three from happening? Walking that far in this kind of heat and humidity for me is a recipe for disaster. I felt like this trip was me walking through the gates of Mordor itself.I desperately started looking for some solution that I could wear to prevent this certain doom. After all, I did not want to disappoint my 12-year-old daughter or my wife (who could hike as if it were an Olympic event).Enter the Minus33 Merino Wool boxer briefs. I decided to buy a pair, and try working out with them about a month before the trip. They worked wonderfully. I ended up buying two pairs for the trip, and washed a pair in the hotel room sink, and wore them again the last day. No problems and they washed great. These boxer briefs saved my trip. I had zero chafing, zero ride-ups, or discomfort. It rained one day, and even though I got wet, they still performed great. I now buy them for my working out as well.TLDR;Fat guy with constant chafing issues. Three straight days of Walt Disney World in Florida July Summer Heat. Wore these and have zero regrets. Saved my trip and my inner thigh

Very Comfortable, not Durable
Love the feel of these. I bought these for long flights to Asia and Europe because I wanted something breathable, comfortable and ideally resistant to getting smelly after sitting in an airline seat for 14 hours. After suffering through several synthetics (some actually cause rashes after wearing that long), I decided to spend the extra money on merino wool It worked. These fit the bill perfectly! The drawback with these is the seams start coming apart and holes start appearing after about 3 washes I wash on delicate cycle and hang dry them.I'd give them 5 Stars if they lasted even half as long as synthetics.

all of it has been really good. For this product I have also tried Icebreaker ...
I have bought a lot of clothing from Minus33, all of it has been really good. For this product I have also tried Icebreaker and SmartWool. I wouldn't buy Icebreaker again, they don't last. My experience of many years and many different Minus33 products is they are great value for money, the last well and you simply cannot beat Merino wool for warmth.

Very nice woolly underwear
Very nice woolly underwear. It’s not cheap. Well, it’s pretty expensive, but it looks like a quality product. It’s been washed a couple of times, air dried with other woollens, and it appears to have kept its shape and elasticity. I have a lot of wool underwear, because we like to feed moths, ho ho... but I’m really pleased with this brand so far. The moths will discover it eventually. And I will buy more.

I took L size and glad I did as the elastic just fits right
I'd give this product 4.5 stars if it existed, but definitely not 4, so I'm marking the 5 stars here :). I owe several merino items and they are a little rougher that this piece. I was afraid these undies will be itchy, but they are silk-smooth and not itchy at all. The only concern is that the elastic is a little tight, not stretchy enough comparing to the rest of the garment's size. I'm 5'11, 185 lbs with size 33 pants. I took L size and glad I did as the elastic just fits right,

Still kept me very comfortable and warm
Used them on a day where i had no hip waiters and needed to wade out into the river with shorts to hit the fishing hole. Wet all day long, Still kept me very comfortable and warm. Allowed me to stay out and fish longer.
