Withings Steel - Activity & Sleep Watch

Pfff. I like it. I want to give it 5 stars but its just too buggy. Every now and again the time will just be completely wrong. Maybe 1-2 times a month. Then you have to sync up with phone again... I just cant risk this with busy work meetings.. step counter and app seem okayish

Bought this because I wanted a simple watch that I can wear with smart or casual clothes. The step and sleep tracker work fine.I have had to factory reset it a couple of times because it stopped syncing properly.The biggest weakness is that the glass on the front scratches very easily. I've had it less than a year and it already has a number of very obvious scratches. See attached images.Considering this is supposed to be an activity watch it doesn't make sense that they have chosen such a poor material. From what I have read the more expensive variants have the same problem, which has put me off buying the newer Steel HR sport.

My wife was delighted with this Christmas present and it motivates her to swim and be more active. However the watch has already become unreliable, causing her much disappointment. I have had the battery tested and replaced by a jeweller. The old battery was ok, We’ve done everything in the Nokia helpline, spoken to Nokia as well - so it must be that the watch is at fault. Odd that Amazon does not make it very easy to return. No return link against the purchase.

I have had this 2 weeks now and I love it, I want to track my fitness but I don't want to charge my fitbit every week.I wanted something that looked classical but not sporty, and I wanted a watch.This does it all for me, I know there are other trackers out there that can tell you GPS location and if you need to drink water, but I just wanted one to measure my everyday office life.

Great idea but too unreliable. I love the idea of a watch that doesn't look like a sports watch but a stylish one you can wear for work. It collects very basic data which is fine for someone who just needs to stay healthy. Unfortunately the link with my android phone is just too flaky. 5 months after buying it will not sync at all or pair using Bluetooth. That makes it useless.

I purchased this watch in December 2017 and it recently developed a fault whereby the time would randomly change. Prior to this it worked as it should and looks great, in fact it's so light you'd be forgiven for thinking you weren't wearing it at all.Why have I given it 5 stars if it developed a fault? because of the customer service, I'm not sure if it's because Withings have taken ownership again but the service was superb (and rare these days)....so 5 stars from me and my replacement has arrived as it comes with a two year guarantee.

I finally found what I was looking for, an elegant watch comfortable to wear and with track functions, I'm pretty happy with my purchase, I guess I will buy the other version with notifications in the future!

I loved the watch and bought one for son and husband. However after 4 months it became erratic. I changed the battery and it became more erratic, stopping and starting and vibrating out of the blue. the man in the watch shop (£12 for new battery it didn't need) finally got it going again after endless prodding and poking but next day it stopped dead and won't work at all. The customer services have been quite helpful, but I am giving up in frustration. They told me to return via Amazon as Amazon will hold the warranty, but I don't have the energy to fight with them.Very disappointing as the product was great to start with and motivated me to keep moving.

J'ai profité d'une super réduction Amazon, car son prix de base... est un peu trop élevé pour ma bourse, mais je suis ravie de ma bonne affaire!Cette montre est superbe! et hyper pratique, elle n'a aucun défaut.j'avais le bracelet withing Pulse OX avant, et moins pratique.... donc aucun regret, je recommande ce produitÉdit:Après utilisation .... elle est pas top. La synchronisation ne se fait pas. Plusieurs fois par semaine obligée de la remettre en paramètre d usine et de la réinstaller sur mon compte. Je recommande pas du tout .

Der Schrittzähler springt bei meiner Uhr hin und her, er übersendet zwar an das Iphone die tatsächlichen Schritte, aber er zeigt dauernd völlig falsche Werte an. Der Support gab diverse Hinweise bis hin zu dem Vorschlag, eine neue Batterie zu kaufen (habe ich auch alles getan, obwohl es sich um eine fast neue Uhr handelte). Hat aber nix hat genutzt, der Zeiger zeigt falsche Werte an. Dann hat Nokia Service vorgeschlagen, die offensichtlich defekte Uhr umzutauschen. Dazu hätte ich gemäß Anleitung zwei PDFs von deren Seite herunterladen müssen. Eine hat sich downloaden lassen, die andere nicht. Diese PDFs sollten nur 5 Tage downloadbar sein. Eine ließ sich nicht herunter laden, wie gesagt. Ein toter Link, wie mir scheint. Mein Hilferuf beim Support in Form einer Email (so haben wir die ganze Zeit kommuniziert) wurde tagelang einfach nicht beantwortet. Ich bin echt genervt. Was ist das bloß für eine Firma, die nicht mal eine PDF zum Download bereitstellen kann und auf Anfragen einfach nicht antwortet. Ich kann jeden Käufer nur warnen: überlegt euch dreimal, ob ihr es euch antun wollt, bei so einer Firma auch nur irgendwas zu kaufen. Als Kunde von einer Firma so behandelt zu werden ist ja wohl das Letzte, bei einem Produkt noch dazu, das nicht ganz billig ist... besser man läßt es bleiben und kauft bei einem seriösen Hersteller! Nokia gehört ganz offensichtlich nicht mehr zu der Kategorie...

Habe eine Nokia Steel - eigentlich eine sehr schöne Uhr und funktioniert tadellos! Plötzlich und ohne Vorwarnung ist das Uhrenglas gerissen. Im Internet musste ich feststellen, dass bereits bei den Withings Uhren - gleiches Modell - das Glas öfter, ohne Vorwarnung gesprungen ist. Was viel schlimmer ist - habe Nokia angeschrieben, leider keine Antwort bekommen.Habe die Uhr über Amazon bezogen.

Premetto che prima di acquistare il Nokia Steel ho acquistato il Withings Steel HR, poi sostituito con il Nevo Smartwatch Shanghai poi sostituito con questo prodotto.PRO:- durata batteria (noh ho ancora esaurito una batteria quindi non so esattamente quanti mesi durerà)- contapassi abbastanza preciso- monitoraggio del sonno abbastanza preciso (molto più preciso dello Steel HR secondo me, anche se non capisco perchè. Per ora nessun problema nemmeno con l'app, a differenza sempre dell'HR)- design: l'orologio è bello e sottile, niente a che vedere con quel cipollotto del Nevo.- prezzo: per chi vuole un orologio con alcune funzioni smart, belllo da vedere..... a meno di €100? è un affareCONTRO- L'orologio di per sè non ha nessun contro che valga la pena elencare. Solo paragonandolo ad altri dispositivi più smart e più costosi sul mercato si nota ovviamente che non ha tutte quelle funzioni che ormai sono tipiche degli smartwatch tipo Samsung Gear per intenderci. Ad ogni modo è una scelta che ognuno è libero di fare! Io non utilizzo la sveglia con vibrazione nè l'alert delle chiamate. Ho già il cellulare che fa per me queste cose e non ho bisogno di duplicare la funzione sull'orologio.VERDETTOMeno smart dello Steel HR ma più preciso in quel poco che fa.Infinitamente più bello del Nevo Smartwatch Shanghai.Secondo me è il giusto compromesso tra tutto. Fa quello che serve, è bello e costa pure poco... super no?

Die Nokia Steel ist eigentlich eine wirklich sehr schöne Uhr.Auf den ersten Blick wirken das Mineralglas und das Edelstahlgehäuse sehr hochwertig und das Silikonarmband ist, dafür das es aus Silikon ist, doch recht angenehm zu tragen.Die Funktionalität der Schlaferkennung, die Synchronisation mit der Nokia Health Mate App laufen stabil sowie die Genauigkeit der Schrittfolge scheinen mir stimmig zu sein. Zumindest nach der kurzen Testdauer scheint mir die Nokia Steel als unauffälliger Tracker durchaus gut zu funktioniern.Leider negativ aufgefallen ist mir, das der bereits wohlbekannte Produktionsfehler mit übermäßig verspanntem Mineralglas ab Werk welches zu einem plötzlichem Glasbruch OHNE äußere Krafteinwirkung führt, von Nokia nach der Übernahme Withings scheinbar nicht optimiert worden ist. Mein Glas ist heute bei einem Spaziergang im Feld während der Mittagspause gerissen. :-(

Design:Hormis le bracelet en silicone qui fait un peu cheap, la montre est de relativement bonne facture, avec un design sobre mais classe, lui permettant d'être portée avec tout sans montrer que c'est un tracker d'activité.Fonctionnalités:Marche: Détecte partiellement les pas de façon automatique. La problématique est la suivante: quand vous faites vos courses avec un cadis, vous le poussez, donc vos bras reste dans une position relativement statique, ce qui fait que la montre ne détecte pas les pas réalisés, point détecté par beaucoup d'application sur smartphone.Sommeil: Détection un peu erratique du sommeil. Je découvre entre autre que j'ai des sessions de sommeil au travail d'après la montre, entre autre pendant des réunions que j'anime, point assez comique je dois l'avouer. Sinon, pour le vrai sommeil, pourrais être amélioré, mais ça reste à peu près correct.Fonctionnalités non automatiques: pas mal de choix d'activités disponibles, mais les options de configurations sont très limités, durée & distance parcourue pour le vélo avec une pseudo intensité. Un peu limité malheureusement.Connectivité:Du bluetooth simple, qui fonctionne moyennement. Si un périphérique est déjà connecté, la montre n'est pas détectée, même avec un téléphone qui gère plusieurs périphériques bluetooth en même temps (galaxy S8+).Dans l'ensemble, le produit reste sympa, par contre, il m'aurait pas été en promo à 59,90€, je pense que je ne l'aurai pas acheté.

Es un terminal discreto que te permite contar tanto los pasos cómo las horas de sueño, sólo necesitas sincronizarlo con la APP en tu móvil y tienes todos los datos que necesitas. Puedes usarlo cómo tu reloj habitual y funciona con pilas, cuando se terminen puedes reponerlo en cualquier relojero.Esta app puedes vincularla a otros aparatos como la báscula con medición de ritmo cardiaco y así tienes mas datos en la aplicación. Ya existen otros relojes más avanzados en el mercadoMi chica se a comprado otro igual pues le gusto mucho el mio

MAJ : après 7 mois d'utilisation quotidienne je viens confirmer la qualité de ce produit. En effet, je n'ai toujours pas changer la pile de la montre et tout fonctionne encore (je n'utilise pas la fonction de réveil par vibration). La montre est parfaitement étanche, même en piscine. La synchronisation au smartphone fonctionne toujours aussi bien. Le seul et unique bémol que je pourrais souligner pour cette montre est le fait qu'elle ne vibre pas pour un appel ou un sms. Ce n'est pas une fonction que le fabricant à souhaité mettre en place sur ce produit et c'est tellement dommage...Enfin en conclusion, une super montre qui pourrait être améliorer dans une futur version ? L'ajout de vibration pour sms et appel + batterie avec chargement à induction (autonomie 20-25 jours comme la steel HR) en ferai une montre parfaite.Commentaire de décembre 2017 :Je me suis acheté cette montre pour noël. Je la trouve très discrète et assez élégante pour une montre connectée ce qui est un excellent point ! De plus elle est très agréable à porter de jour comme de nuit, le bracelet peut s'adapter à la plupart des poignets (peut être pas les trop gros ?). j'ai également pu vérifier que la montre est étanche (sous la douche et le bain, pas lors de la natation pour le moment) et que aucune buée ou condensation ne se forme à l'intérieure du cadran. La montre reconnaît très bien les activités réalisées (course marche) en revanche les données afficher sur l'application sont assez loin de la réalité => course de 8,5 km enregistré sur Runtastic avec GPS alors que la montre affiche dans l'application 9,7km. Il faut voir cette montre comme un trackeur d'activité pas comme un outil précis. en quelques jour elle ma incité à me promener pour finaliser l'objectif quotidien de pas que je me suis fixé. l'application utilisée permet de visualiser les données enregistrées (une synchronisation montre / téléphone est nécessaire pour actualiser les données) mais je trouve qu'il manque quelques réglages notamment pour gérer les données et la synchronisationLa pile est censée durer de 6 à 8 mois. Je viendrai modifier ce commentaire au besoin (durée et étanchéité après changement de la pile).Je pense que la montre est un peu cher mais pour ma part je l'ai eu lors de promotion à 70€ au lieu de 120€ je me suis donc laissé tenter et je ne regrette pas du tout !je vous recommande fortement cette montre si vous souhaitez acquérir une VRAI montre permettant de quantifier votre activité lors de la journée et votre sommeil :)

Es un reloj discreto que cuenta los pasos y las horas de sueño, se sincroniza con una App que funciona muy bien y te da estadísticas bastante completas, tiempo y distancia andando, corriendo, nadando, me gusta mucho la verdad es mi reloj de diario, se gasto la pila en unos 8 meses pero un relojero me la cambio en 2 minutos, lo recomiendo.Tambien me gusta mucho que en la misma app puedes enlazar la báscula con medición de ritmo cardiaco y asi tienes mas datos en la aplicacaionMi chica se a comprado otro igual pues le gusto mucho el mio

Sehr schicke Fitnessuhr. Tolle Alternative zu gewöhnlichen Fitnessarmbändern. Die Installation war denkbar unkompliziert. Ein echt schönes Produkt. Ich hab mir gleich ein Lederarmband zum wechseln dazu gekauft.Zusatz nach 8 Monaten.Die Batterie musste gewechselt werden. Ich habe das vorsorglich im Fachgeschäft machen lassen um die Garantie nicht zu gefährden, war auch nicht teuer. Die Uhr lief danach super, aber man konnte sie nicht mehr synchronisieren. Es war echt mühselig und bedurfte einiger Anläufe, bis das wieder funktionierte. Der Kontakt mit nokia dazu, naja.... 2 von 5 SternenDas ist echt schade und bisher der einzige Nachteil an der Uhr.

Davvero molto bello. Le funzioni di base da smartwatch che ha sono tutto quello che serve in un ibrido. Mi sarebbe piaciuto avere il cardiofrequenzimetro integrato e il numero della data (sempre analogico).Prezzo interessante.IMPORTANTE però sapere che non è compatibile con molti telefoni anche recenti e popolari (come Huawei p10 con cui non è compatibile). Forse da parte di Nokia dovrebbe essere messo più in rilievo questo aspetto

Non è necessario starci dietro in alcun modo: l'utilizzo della batteria sia dell'orologio che dello smartphone è ottimale, ci sono sì delle latenze sulla sincronizzazione dell'app ma le tollero ben volentieri considerando che il compromesso è a vantaggio dell'utilizzo della batteria dello smartphone.L'app è fantastica, ci sono tante lamentele di altri utenti riguardo il redesign massivo dovuto al passaggio dalla gestione di Withings a Nokia; queste lamentele sono plausibili ma per me sono semplicemente dovute al principio del 'loss-aversion'. Non conosco il vecchio design ma quello attuale fa scuola: sono riusciti a fare molto con poco (solo i dati relativi all'attività fisica).Non rimpiango alcuna feature di altri smart-watch che ho posseduto.Un'aspetto sul quale Nokia ha margine di miglioramento è relativo alle performance dell'app. La navigazione all'interno dell'app è un po' lenta quando ci sono interazioni con il server. Sono fiducioso.

Lo sto usando da un paio di settimane e sono molto soddisfatto, l’orario e tutti i dati raccolti si sincronizzano con lo smartphone via Bluetooth ogni volta che si apre l’app, la quale è abbastanza personalizzabile in base alle cose che ci interessano, si possono rimuovere o aggiungere “widget” per le varie funzioni (analisi del sonno, attività motorie, ecc) nella pagina principale, e, almeno su iPhone, interagisce al 100% con l’app “salute” di Apple in maniera bidirezionale (salute legge i dati di withings healtmate e anche viceversa, stessa cosa si può dire anche dell’interazione con molte altre app di fitness per il tracking di attività o la dieta, eccetera, e tutto interconnesso). La funzione di tracking del sonno è fantastica e riconosce la differenza fra sonno vero e momenti di relax in cui si è sdraiati a vedere un film, inoltre gestisce perfettamente le “interruzioni” di sonno, come quando ci si sveglia un minuto per via di una zanzara, includendo la fase di interruzione nella fase di sonno generale, che influisce sul punteggio che viene dato alla fine, è la mia funzionalità preferita. Per quanto riguarda le attività, capisce automaticamente se si cammina o si corre, ma credo si basi un po’ sul tempo, ad esempio, se faccio 5 passi di corsa non vengono contati come corsa, altrettanto se vado a mare e faccio giusto 3 bracciate non mi riconosce il nuoto, ma appena si fa una certa attività per più di qualche minuto riconosce l’attività svolta dall’inizio automaticamente. Fisicamente l’orologio di per se sembra di qualità, purtroppo mi è capitato di sbatterlo sugli infissi delle porte un paio di volte passandoci ma è rimasto illeso! E sono andato a mare tutti i giorni e posso dire che è completamente impermeabile. Una cosa curiosa: avvicinandolo all’orecchio non fa il classico ticchettio, è completamente silenzioso, e la lancetta dei minuti non si muove in modo continuativo con lo scorrere del tempo, rimane sempre ferma al suo posto su una tacca, e appena scatta un minuto la lancetta si muove alla tacca successiva con un vigoroso “tic”. Curioso.

L'orologio è leggerissimo e comodissimo, praticamente non si sente al polso e si può indossare anche di notte, complici le dimensioni del cinturino ( sottilissimo e molto elegante, di silicone) e del quadrante ( 38mm).Si collega perfettamente con iOS e si integra con l'app Health, per continuare ad inserire statistiche se generalmente si dispone di altri dispositivi come l'apple watch, ma dispone di una propria app realizzata da Nokia con la quale viene inizializzato. La batteria è di quelle comuni facilmente reperibili, e sostituibile anche in casa senza attrezzi del mestiere.Unico difetto, proprio a volerlo trovare, è che il cinturino attira un pò di polvere e impurità varie.
