I'm 5'3", 40D, 160 lbs, 41" waist. I ordered an XXL. It fits perfect. It'd be perfect if it was a bit more snug but as of right now it fits perfect. Was worried it'd be too big and loose or too tight. Wearing for nursing school graduation. It's a nice quality material, not too thick and not too thin. Don't have to worry about showing my undergarments either. Recommend buying!

I've always loved vintage looking clothes
Bought this dress in an effort to transform my wardrobe a bit. I've always loved vintage looking clothes, and this dress was perfect to fulfill the "50's" quota in my closet. Fits great, material feels nice, it's flattering and feels well made. I even decided to buy it in another color as well, but the blue is awfully pretty. I did get a petticoat to go underneath. It looks best with a black one.

This dress was my second attempt at a Agent Peggy Carter costume. First I ordered a similar 1940s style keyhole dress (by Destinas) which also had good reviews but it did not fit me well at all. I'm curvy and heavyset and the material of the keyhole dress still stuck out at the hips. It was just an odd fit. So I sent that one back and ordered this dress. It's perfect! The way the skirt falls is much more flattering while still being fitted. It's not particularly my style for everyday wear but it's just what I needed for my costume (and it was cheaper than the keyhole dress).

This dress as absolutely wonderful for the 1940's dance we performed
This dress as absolutely wonderful for the 1940's dance we performed! I did order the next size up just to be safe and it fit perfectly. The full skirt allowed my dress to swirl when we danced and the stretchy material made if comfortable. Loved the color also!

Cute but fabric is more like cotton and it runs big
I wish this was the typical nylon fabric these dresses come in, the dress is cute but it runs large. I am 5'6, 130lbs and the small is big on me. I wear a size 4 dress usually and 4-6 in pants that haven't been Americanized with the new sizing where the 0 is really 4. This is a thin cotton, I don't think it will hold up to many washings but it's cute, the color is royal blue and if you want to look slimmer, since the waist is not fitted you will need to wear a small belt. The girl in the photo has obviously been pinned in the back or altered, I'm not as thin as her and the sleeves are a tad baggy on me and the waist is not fitted like that. They should offer an xsmall size if they are going to run big like this. This type of dress can work for smaller or larger women.

Order a size down
My measurements are: 40 - 34 - 40. Weight 175 lbs, height 5'9".I ordered a XXL per size chart, but I should have gotten xl. It would have framed me better. It's a nice thick material that flows perfectly for swing dancing! Because it's a bit large it does make me look a little larger than I am, so I'll be resizing it. But at least I don't need to worry about the zipper too much! It's VERY stretchy. So feel free to order a size down.
