Hodedah 5 Door Bookcase Cabinet, MAHOGANY

When I first opened the box the cabinet came in I noticed right away that the corner of the sides was chipped and cracked while assembling it I was able to put the broken section towards the back of the cabinet so you cannot notice it unless you are trying to find it. As I continued assembling the cabinet, one of the magnet door pieces was broken completely, I was able to crazy glue it and add it to the last drawer which I won't be opening as much compared to the above doors. Once the cabinet was assembled, it came out beautiful, the instructions were very easy, all of the pieces came with a few extra, and overall I had an amazing time putting the cabinet together by myself.

Now disclaimer after I ordered it I then looked at the reviews (dumb, I know). So I had a mild freak out thinking it was gonna be this great big disaster but it wasn't. All my pieces came and all holes were drilled, I think people thought they weren't drilled all the way when in reality once you start to screw the nails it all falls into place. As you can see I did do the side piece wrong (I'm just a girl😂) but my brother said it builds character and I'm bit that bothered by it myself. Overall it was super easy to do and quite fun totally recommend. I will say the only thing confusing is the labels like the bag with the nails some letters weren't on the right bag but again if you look at the instruction manual closely you'll see what is what.

The two cabinets were a challenge to put together and took me much longer to put together than the instructions said. However, I am a 78 year old woman and managed it on my own with a great sense of satisfaction. The cabinet have the area around my desk look very neat and my art supplies very easy to get to.

For the money this is a great product. I needed the 3 door cubbies for shoes at the entry because of new puppy and this will work just fine. And it’s nice enough I’ll be able to use it for other things later. Of course it’s just laminated pressboard and you have to build it but for $39 it’s worth it! I’m sorry some have experienced broken or missing pieces but I took a chance and am pleased my package was complete and in good condition. It is very sturdy, too.

I will start off by saying that I purchased 2 sizes of this product. The 3 door version same first. It was super easy to put together and it looks great!The 4 door version, which is what this review will focus on, was a different story. I'll break it down into 3 sections for easier processing. As a note, I decided to keep the piece even with all the issues, mainly because I have chronic pain and the thought of disassembling this and dealing with returning or exchanging it makes me want to cry.Issues:- 1 set of the plastic door hinges came broken and unusable. Due to this, one section of the cabinet cannot have a door on it. I choose to leave the door off the top section to make sure the bottom had all the structure support it needed when full. Since it still looks ok without it, I left it off. (6th picture)- 3 door magnets arrived broken with 2 of them being unusable. I ended up using different a magnet that I had on hand to keep the doors locked on the bottom of the piece. Since that section won't be used for more than long term storage, it wasn't super important for it to be able to open and close easily.- The bottom corner of the right wall panel has a chunk missing. Since it didn't affect the structure once assembled, and it's on the bottom hidden section, I just went with it. I will fill it with wood putty eventually.- Most boards arrived with scratches along the edges (see picture 5 for the worst). Fortunately for me, they were on the inside of the doors and on the edge that doesn't face people.Cons:- For the price point of this, I expected better quality for this product.- The multiple broken pieces were highly annoying.- The instructions are poorly written. It was difficult to tell in the pictures which was the front of the board and which was the back. Fortunately, my reasoning deductive skills helped me.- Did I mention the MULTIPLE broken pieces?- The floor protection pieces that are included with the parts are a hard plastic. Once had a slight dent that made it sharp and pointy. I ended up replacing them with felt feet that I keep on hand.- The door handles are a cheap flimsy plastic. They're easy enough to replace by purchasing nicer ones, but for the look it was going for and the price point, inexpensive metal ones or even a better looking plastic would have gone a long way.Pros: Overall, it's an attractive looking piece that is sturdy and can hide away a significant amount of items. It's super easy to assemble. The instruction pages were static clung between 2 pieces of Styrofoam so I didn't find them until almost the final steps. Since I've put enough pieces of furniture together in my lifetime, it was simple enough to figure out how to build without instructions. It ships and arrives quickly with Amazon Prime.Like I said, there were a bunch of issues with this piece, but with other items I had on hand in my house, I was able to fix most of them. I'll keep the ones I have, but I don't see myself buying another one of these products.

I love it is sizes, it's sturdiness, it value for the money and it ease to assemble I recommend to any body to buy.

Compre 4 piezas de estas estanterias, solo una pieza llego rota. Me comunique con el servicio al cliente de la compañia, cuya information viene juntos a los instrucciones de ensamblaje y me contestaron super rapido. Me enviaron un reemplazo de la pieza que vino rota de inmediato. El servicio al cliente fue estupendo. Las estanterias son muy facil de montar y se ven muy bonitas.

It clearly has measurements, I just somehow expected it to be bigger once put together. But my mechanically impaired, accident prone (breaks everything) husband put it together with no issues. No parts were missing or broken. We got it to keep by our patio door to store extra bird food and cat food for the strays. The compartments are a bit smaller than I would like as I'm having trouble finding plastic lidded containers large enough to hold an entire bag of seed/food that will fit in it. It seems to lean a bit forward to me on carpet, but for the price and what we're using it for, it's a good buy.

if you're looking for a storage unit to keep clutter out of the way this is a good unit, easy to assemble, not very big or wide so it doesn't take too much space, it's just enough space to keep your stuff out of the way

Purchased back in February, opened the box and the side panels were broken in half!! And no instruction sheet! Was major disappointed, had stayed home just for this!!Called Amazon customer service, I was grateful when they said that the manufacturer would replace the damaged product. Received it a week later, and it was in perfect condition. Easy to install, took 1 hour. I layed everything out before putting it all together.Today, 5 months later, product is holding up nicely. The wood is in tact and sturdy.

fácil de armar, viene con todas las piezas necesarias, no se requiere más que un desarmador de cruz para los tornillos de las bisagras.Hay unas plaquitas de metal que se ponen en la esquina de la puerta para que se pegue en el imán y cierre la puetra, pero esas plaquitas no le hicieron agujero para el tornillo, por lo que uno tiene que hacerlo aunque no es nada difícil solo hay que hacer presión sobre el tornillo.
