Face Fix (Bronze)

I was sceptical of getting this product, I was stuck where to place this product - somewhere between a "vanity purchase" or "male make-up" but I took the plunge anyway (mostly thinking, £10 isn't much to give it a go right?)Here is what I summarised over the few days I used it.I’m olive skinned and opted for the darkest option (having read users making the mistake of going too light) despite being quite light olive skin, it seems to be the right colour for me. Using this stuff sparingly and spread thinly per application at a time it actually blends into the skin quite nicely, it doesn’t appear heavy or too obvious.PROS:-Once you rub the top layer into the rest (when you first open the lid it actually appears darker, than it spreads) then it is easily applied, much like face paint.-Great for covering small blemishes, spots or freckles. I might question its usability for dark eye circles/bags. I tested heavily applying to completely hide my bags and it soon became very obvious I was wearing this stuff. My advice would be to get this for spots, small blemishes and to smoothen skin tone/colour.-It doesn’t appear to be too thick which is handy when you’re out and want to apply a quick touch up in the toilets, my advice nonetheless is always apply small amounts.- small vaseline like container which makes it discrete and easy to carry around for quick on the go applicationsCONS:-Try not to go heavy on areas with skin creases. I found particularly around the eyes when smiling or squinting the creases of skin showed up the concealer quite a lot.-It came quite simply in a small tin container similar to Vaseline with no instructions, no ingredients or best practices (I get you’re a new company but this is entirely below the standard of any skincare product) - I don’t even know what is in this stuff?? Or how long I can keep this on for? Or allergens?-Removal is a guess at best – The product doesn’t allude to how to get this stuff off, and being that this product is hitting a brand new market, much like me a lot of men will have no idea how to remove this stuff. A good face scrub seemed to do the trick, perhaps these guys are missing a trick? Maybe a remover?-My last little moan is that they haven’t thought much around the application of this product? It feels a bit primitive to be applying this with your finger – it almost feels a bit caveman-esque, as if I’m about to go into a battle.TL;DR / OverallFor the price of £10, it’s not going to break the bank, but it’s also not going to make me the next Tom Hardy (if there is a £10 product out there that will, please let me know) having said this, it’s not bad. It generally does what you want it to, and if you manage to get the right skin tone like me you should find it quite useful. I’d say for a light sceptical user expecting to make small cover-ups of spots, freckles or blemishes this is fantastic. Expect, however, to apply with fingertips, with no instructions and to figure out removal.I’d buy this again, but there could be some improvements made.

Ordered the Light Face Fix after reading previous reviews, however it was too light for my skin. I’d suggest that unless you have pale pale skin, go for Medium. I contacted the company, who responded straight away and sent me a replacement Medium in the post. They couldn’t have been more helpful, and the product itself is great and really subtle - just make sure you pick the right shade!

Recently bought Face Fix after seeing it advertised on Instagram. I suffer from mild acne and wanted a product that would cover it discreetly. This is great for that. It has an undetectable finish, that blends easily with fingers and can be used everyday without fuss. The medium shade was pretty spot on for my skin tone too. The price is great for the quality of product & packaging, so will definitely be repurchasing.

Brilliant product does what it says if your a guy who struggles with dark circles like me this is the product for you it hides dark circles well and gets rid of them easily and it is an all round great product I did find it tricky to hide my spots as it looked odd when I covered them but that may just be an issue with me as my spots are pretty big only issues I would point out about this product is it can be a bit tough to apply it’s not the easiest of products to apply to the skin and I do wish the tin was a bit bigger for the money but overall I can’t complain best concealer I’ve ever brought no visible wrinkles either when applied on my under eye

I use woman’s make up and wasn’t particularly looking for a male specific one, but I got a free sample of this and loved it! The consistency is a little thicker than some concealers and really works for my skin, without being visible. I love it and it’s a great price! Dare I say, they could probably charge a bit more as it lasts for AGES!

Use this daily and wouldn’t be without it! Worth finding the right shade as I was using a shade lighter to start but found this shade darker works even better. Great to apply and just tones down the dark areas under my eyes. It’s a great formation. I don’t feel embarrassed using this in the gym changing rooms as the container is so discreet and the product is so easy to apply. I do always use this after I’ve applied moisturiser. I don’t leave home without this now!!

I highly recommend Face Fix. I suffer with under eye darkness and Face Fix is perfect to disguise dark circles. The customer service is second to none and I will definitely be buying again. Just make sure you get the right tone for your skin - I am olive skinned and the medium was a little light for me, but the friendly customer services team will recommend which shade to go for if you send them a photo of you.

Essentially a concealer for men, this does the job very well. Easily applied with your fingertip, instantly blends into the skin and creates a smooth, blemish free complexion for all those problem areas and bags. I’ve started using it on my nose and forehead too. Bronze works well on my darker Brit skin.
