It was a really great Read, looking back on the history of six day races, which was fascinating to find out that at one point in history that ultra running had captivated huge audiences and the general public just as football Baseball and soccer has today.The stories of endurance and suffering combined with gambling sabotage and intrigue are fascinating I can’t wait for the second book!

Just got done covering a 6 day running event. This book helped put what I saw in perspective . So interesting that the themes about “Why’ haven’t changed that much
