Great for keeping your fresh made baked bread one other stuff (scones, rolls, bread cakes) though they’re too small for the bigger loaves they do keep it very fresh for longer than using other types of plastic bags, i bake 1000gm loaves in a 5llb tin so they’re way too big for the bag but cooled down and cut into slices they’re great for holding a few thick slabs and keeping it fresh or just putting in the freezer i get twenty decent slices out of one loaf so four bags would keep those very fresh for around three days. Also i reuse the bags after emptying the crumbs out so at over ten pence each i suppose its really expensive but being tough enough to re-use its not bad, make sure your loaf is completely cooled down before “bagging” up your bread, condensation allows for mould to grow quicker and if freezing will make your bread very wet when thawing out.

I had made a new loaf of bread which was cooling down, these were delivered just on time. Brilliant bags. Not quite as strong as previous bags but they will be fine. Complete with gold ties. Excellent value.

Great bags for homemade bread. This is a loaf I made and doesn’t even fill half so there is plenty of room for larger loaves. Will buy more when these ones are done and the ties are good as well. Would recommend.

The size is just the job for a loaf of bread also good for other things too,.

Some may say, "they're just bags". We've found they not only contain things (as expected [grin]), but are very good quality - the plastic is thicker, tougher, more resilient. That means they can be used in the deep freeze without tearing easily, like so many other thin/poor quality bags. Additionally they are provided with a 'wire tie' for sealing the end. Their size is good for storing homemade bread for freezer or regular everyday usage.

Purchased this as we've started making our own bread. Sad to be using plastic but these do the job of keeping the bread from coming into contact with other objects in the cupboard. We also have a cotton bag but for hygiene this disposable option, unfortunately, makes the most sense.

Well worth what you pay. The bags are a decent thickness, you get a whole bunch of gold ties, and they can easily hold a full sized load, and then some. I was able to fit two round 500g sourdough loaves in one!
