At first I absolutely loved using this as a cutting board--no mold, flexible and can put in dishwasher.Now after using for a couple of weeks I have noticed that little slivers of the silicone are getting into the food. Then when washing it I noticed there are many cuts in the silicone material, some going all the way through!Will contact the company to see if I am somehow using it incorrectly...

I had to return liflicon extra large cutting board after reading “avoid using serrated knives” on the product label. Otherwise, I would have loved to have kept it. I saw other photos posted showing deep cuts and wondered if serrated knives were responsible. There were no references in the online product description to avoid serrated knives. Doesn’t deserve my two-star rating because I never used it.

I was so excited to buy new cutting boards. It has been decades and after reading the reviews these seemed like exactly what I was looking for. I hoped they would remain sturdy and would be thick. The pros are that the colors are vibrant and the two different textured work surfaces are great for maintaining no-slip status. The board is indeed a thick slab of silicone, and I loved them right out of the box. The con is that my knives cut right through the silicone within a week of use. We are not butchers, or professional chefs, who are regularly hacking away at meat and vegetables. So the fact that that these silicone mats now have deep lacerations in them that nearly cut through to the other side of the mat means that they are not going to be easy to clean ... the cuts will be a cesspool for germs. These were expensive mats so I am deeply disappointed that they did to work out and am hesitant to give a second pair a try. My previous cutting boards were also made of silicone and did not have knife lacerations on them even after 10 years of use.

Nice & thick silicone cutting boards! The only one on the market that is genuine silicone as far as I can tell. You know these are quality from the second you feel it. It has a good weight & is well designed w/ the cutting board side resembling the texture of a plastic cutting board & the bottom w/ a wavy design that grips the surface. The board can bend but is still thick enough to be quite sturdy. The hole allows the board to hang & dry conveniently. Silicone in everything is all the rage these days for its close cell anti-bacteria structure—unlike plastic, but a lot of products being sold aren’t actually 100% silicone. This one seems like it is though. Worth the price.

Was just reminded, while reviewing something else that had a not-so-great cutting board surface, that THESE cutting ‘boards’ are actually really good! The smaller one is quite handy for quick/small jobs like when you need just one shallot, and the larger one is fine for chopping more stuff. I also really love the larger one for portioning out fish/chicken/meats to freeze recipe-sized amount separately, because the silicone material really comes clean afterwards. I’ve washed by hand and in the dishwasher, and both methods work fine. Highly recommended.

I was a little worried about this to be honest... i had seen a photo of it cut and I was afraid it would be really thin but it’s actually pretty decent in thickness compared to many other silicone cutting boards. I only use it to chop my veggies. Although they don’t advertise this as LFGB certified silicone, I wonder if it is? It seems of higher quality than the regular FDA ones. I love that it’s non toxic.

This is the second time in about a month that I have ordered this product. I’ve been using the first one I bought and it’s amazing. It’s great to cut on and good on the knives and I really I don’t see any mark on it. But of course I am using CARE and following instructions. It’s easy to clean and I liked it so much that I bought a two pack with a small one and a large one. Great cutting boards!

Love silicon cutting boards, don't like the color though....wishing it was a lighter brighter yellow
