Held coffee hot for a day!

Exactly what I needed. Bought 2 for a function. Fits a box of Joe from Dunkin. Kept it hot for 16 hours. Went to dump out the remaining coffee only to find it still hot. Pump works very well. Very easy to use. Highly recommend.

First of all, I love that this carafe keeps coffee hot for a long time, that's a major pro for me. I purchased for my company and we keep a carafe of coffee in the kitchen all day every day and people refill as it runs out. The capacity is great as well, I found that I was able to keep two pre-portioned runs of our commercial coffee maker in each carafe. For events, that's awesome, because we only need 2-3 of these at a time instead of 5-6. Less to wash! I like the look of it as well.But what I don't like is the effort it takes to push down the button at the top to dispense the coffee. I get complaints about that all the time. To the degree that, even though I just purchased these, I'm contemplating getting rid of a few of them already and replacing with the classic lever design. I don't mind it but I'm not in my 60s+, that's the age group that complains the most about the effort. That's the reasoning for the one star deduction.

Boy , does this keep it hot for the long haul !

After about a month of using this, it's worthless. I can fill this will boiling water, and in 2hrs, it's simply lukewarm. The worst part is that I bought a second one thinking maybe it was a fluke and the same thing happened - of course it breaks just after the return window -

I used two of these for my Christmas party this year- one for mulled wine and one for hot cocoa. Both were SO hot even hours later. I filled up the hot cocoa airpot at around 2pm, and the hot cocoa was still too hot to drink at 7pm when people tried to put it into cups. The mulled wine went in to the airpot at a lower temp, given that you can’t get it too close to boiling, and even that was still hot when we went to fill up cups that evening. The only slight complaint I have is that cleaning them out is a bit difficult, but I will definitely use them again. Friends have already asked to borrow them for their upcoming events this spring.
