Should come with a warning
These are very sharp and feel very uncomfortable to touch. Horse eats them fine but I don't feel safe feeding.

Ouch !
I am sorry but I really don't like this product. The clue is in the name but I wasn't expecting tiny thistles that would stick into your skin if you handle this supplement. A course/bitty consistency that may be OK for some but not for my small pony who has gaps in her teeth. It was the first time ordering this supplement and I should have researched a bit better. I have now opted for a stone ground powder which suits us better. I cant comment on value/pain relief/flavour so I rated as average.

I would definately buy again
so far we have seen no difference in the elderly horses, but they have only been on it for 6 weeks, so early days.

Value for money for the dogs
Bought this as a more cost effective way to get milk thistle into the dogs’ diet. I whizz it in the blender so it’s much less coarse to give them their small amount.

Great product
My horse had no problem eating it. It would just mix it in with his grain. You get a little more bang for your buck with this product. The liquid is less days and cost more. Definitely recommend this

Too prickly
Can't even touch this with my hands to mix into the feed...it's like sticking my hand into a porcupine den.
