These Elk and Friends porcelain bowls are such a great find for kids and toddlers. They feel sturdy and high quality, and I love that they’re real porcelain with a removable silicone sleeve for grip and protection. The sleeve helps prevent slipping and makes them easier for little hands to hold. They’re the perfect size for snacks, cereal, yogurt, and small meals. I really appreciate that they’re microwave and dishwasher safe, which makes everyday use so much easier. The bowls clean up well and don’t stain or hold odors like some plastic ones do. Overall, these are a fantastic option if you’re trying to move away from plastic but still need something kid-friendly. Functional, safe, and thoughtfully designed. I’d absolutely buy them again.

We love these bowls! We replaced our silicone dishes as they took on the flavor of soap, and these being ceramic with a silicone outside for safety have been perfect! We haven’t had any issues with breaking, and love that they can be dishwashed! These are great for baby led weaning, they don’t suction, but help to teach about how to use dishes. They’re great with our toddler as well, and will continue to be used for a while!

Love Elk and Friends products so much we bought plates to go with the bowls! They’re practical, safe, non-slip, and toddler loves them! The variety of colors are great also! The bowl is made out of porcelain. Be careful when cleaning these. Only use a soft sponge because it will scratch if you use anything rough. Silicon can be easily removed, cleaned, and put back on. Can use in the microwave as well. Highly recommend these!

Absolutely love these bowls! It is so convenient to just throw them in the dishwasher. I do removed the silicone cover from the bowl and put them both in the dishwasher, but it doesn’t affect the use or anything. The silicone also helps the bowls not slide all over the table for littles still learning to eat.

We're a solid Elk and Friends household. The only plates my children use are elk and friends ceramic plates with the silicone edges and I knew we needed the bowls to match! They hold a good amount for a toddler so I'm not having to re fill the bowl during meal time. I got the set with the vibrant colors and they're so fun and colorful. The ceramic is really sturdy and non toxic, two of my favorite things. The silicone part can go through the wash, but it does hold water so I tend to separate them and leave them on the counter to dry before putting them away. The ceramic is a nice thickness without being too heavy for a toddler to carry on their own. I LOVE these bowls and will be buying more!

They are ok. They ended up chipping at the rim and not sure we needed that sleeve after all. We've avoided plastic best we can and in retrospect, I wish we woulda used stainless steel bowls while they were toddlers once and once our kids stopped throwing we shoulda just used small regular bowls and had a couple extra in case of an accident.

Lovely bowls; I bought these to replace some bamboo ones which were showing some signs of wear. My 22 month old really seems to like them. The silicon sleeves come off easily enough for washing (they definitely need to be removed as lots of water ends up inside & would cause mould if not dried properly) & go back on easily too. Great that they’re ok in the dishwasher & the microwave too. They do hold heat more than the bamboo ones did which I guess is good but worth being aware of to avoid serving food when it’s still too hot. They’re a good size for a toddler I think. Overall, a fantastic purchase & I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of these if/when needed.

Love these. Perfect low tox option to reduce plastic/microplastics. Good quality and love the silicone covers which are easy to remove and put back on. On the smaller side, so would be good to have larger options for bigger kids.
