Spells and Bindings (Enchanted World Series)

I give this book a five star review because of the wonderful stories that are a fun read along with the illustratioins that are in great color and detail. It first starts off with the story of Tristram and Isolt in the King Arthur Round Table times,if you can remember the love that was between them and like all heroes and maidens the love never last due to some tragedy like in this one, when Tristram befriended Isolt and won her hand but for reasons I won't tell ended up being married to his uncle King Mark of Cornwall, never-the-less they continued to sneak around and see each other. This book goes on to talk about greek mythology of Eros and Psych, Pygmalion who fell in love with his own statue that he created out of stone and cried to the Gods, and along came Aphrodite and granted his wish. There are a lot of other amazing stories in this magical book just waiting to be read. If you like fairy tales and adventure this book is for you.

Terrific addition to the series. The stories are mostly unique interpretations of familiar tales set in their own universe. Spells and Bindings is maybe not THE Enchanted Worlds book to have. But if you have the books on either side of it, you need this one.

Classic. Grew up in reading this series as a kid.

I'm not sure how I stumbled upon these books, but I am so glad I did!! Since then I have been collecting them, and enjoy every single one of them!! They are beautiful, fun, and full of different stories from all over. They are also excellent for display.

For the beginner of practical magic, spells and binding that which you wish dearly, But word of caution, be careful what you wish for.
