Very impressed with the construction and color match quality of these F10 armrests. The leather covering is far superior to the original BMW vinyl. I'm sure these will be much longer wearing as a result. Certainly worth the $200 savings over the BMW original.Installing them is challenging as there are no instructions available. However, someone with mechanical aptitude will figure it out. I do recommend removing the console from the car for more space to work. However, retrospectively, I can see how you could do it with it still in the car.My only complaint is that these are specifically designed for automatical transmission F10s and not the manual transmission variant.What's the difference? The manual ones have a cup holder on the inside of the right flap. These cannot accommodate that cup holder insert without significant modifications. Since my F10 is a manual, and I was determined to make these work and retain the cup holder, I dremeled away some plastic material and created an aluminum bracket which I expoxied to the inside of the right flap. This allowed me to retain the cupholder insert.The result is nearly indiscernible from the original BMW part. You could certainly install them as-is on a manual but you will lose your second front cupholder. Obviously these will fit an automatic F10 without modifications.Check out the attached photos for some hints on the install. Good luck!

Look, I wont lie. These look nice! Perfect color match and everything! And when they came in, I was so excited to install them. I manage an Autobody shop but to be clear, I'm not an "A Tech" or anything like that. However, I've been in all departments in the shop for the last 25+ years so I can do pretty much whatever as far as R&I go. Well, even though these look like great quality, they are still sitting in my trunk because I can figure out how to get them on! One of these days, Ill figure it out!
