The best tool in my knitting bag!
I love this little ball! It took a bit of fiddling to figure out the best way to load this little gem, but once I got it I was in love. I wind my yarn on a crank, spool winder, into a ball not bigger than the YARNIT and load it on it's side, pulled from the center in the globe. (Pictured) The yarn feeds beautifully and I can knit/crochet directly without pulling out a couple of yards first. Perfection! It sits nicely, even on the arm of my big chair, and the rubber base is great. I bought two for myself and one for my daughter. The ladies in my guild have been buying them from other sites and we all love them. Admittedly they could be larger to hold more yarn, but since I don't want to carry around a bowling ball bag for the YARNIT this suits me perfectly. Worth every penny!

The only problem I've found is that the holes don't precisely match up once I've put the yarn in and the yarn then catches on the off-center part of the hole.'

Very practical and useful.
I have two. This one and one a friend gave me as a gift. They are great. It keeps your yarn in one place, letting it unwind in the bowl neatly. I love being able to take it with me on a trip (no tangled mess when you get to your destination.) There is a space for needles and markers under the bowl, too.

Base loosened
I was excited to get this and I used it on a vacation trip on a schooner. It worked well in keeping the yarn contained, clean and dry. However the base comes off easily spilling the contents all over. I didn't overfill the base, just a few stitch markers, tiny scissors and tapestry needle. I rarely use it now, because the base is too loose. I like the design, but am disappointed that I only got about one week's worth of use from it before the base gave out.

Great product!
I love this little ball!! It's perfect size (as of now) And it makes crocheting/knitting go so much smoother, you don't have to worry about where the yarn is, and you don't have to take time to pull some out every few minutes. I want to but one for all my friends.
