This ottocast is pretty fast when it come to connect but unfortunately it didn’t work on my 2018 Lexus LS 500 cuz my car didn’t come with it but it show me it connect etc

I bought this to replace my CPlay2Air adapter that started acting flakey.This thing boots and connects SO Fast that I wish I had known about it a long time ago.I used the have to unplug and reconnect my CPlay2Air adapter every few weeks to get it to connect but this one works like a charm every time I turn on my truck.It also doesn’t have the 3 second lag after you start to stream music that my CPlay2Air had.You won’t be sorry if you get one.

Followed the simple one page instructions to add my phone and then my wifes phone. The one button push to switch between phones works great. I've read a few people talk about it takes a few seconds to connect, and while that might be true, like perhaps 10 seconds, my other car has wireless Android Auto and it also takes around the same amount of time. I think that's just how long it takes for the bluetooth to connect, and for that app on the phone to fire up. Overall great product, would like to try more from the company in the future.

I have an email into the seller why are we spending this type of money for a product that you only get 30 days use out of? Just quit working after 30 daysJust missed return windows. Is that the the sellers plan? To have it working for 30 days and then you can return it?I bought on June 11th almost to the day 30 days later stopped working completely!Is all this sellers items like this? I purchased one of these a couple of years ago and returned it because the connection was never consistent. I found this new version on sale and decided o try it again. It works great for listening to music or podcasts. The downside is trying to use talk to text. With an iPhone, when you want to reply to a text, the delay is enough that it always buts the name into th text rather than what you want to say. As long as you're using it for listening to music and texting, it worked great. I think the delay is just an inherent problem with how the tech works.

Connection was not very easy...When I finally connected in 2018 Civic, the Music skipped.I uploaded latest firmware, the device stopped working...

Small size is great and it's easy enough to toggle between CarPlay, AirPlay, and Android Auto modes. Just not the correct product to purchase if you are an Android phone user and the owner of a 2019 Toyota Rav4. Although I could connect wirelessly to Android Auto using this device, I was limited to using my Android phone in the same way I was when connecting my phone via USB--I could play Spotify through my car but could not project Google Maps (or access other apps) on the car's screen. For that I needed to purchase the Ottocast Play2Video Pro, which has worked like a charm.
