The Nib Creaper (also known as the Standard Flex Pen) was the first fountain pen produced by Noodler's, introduced in 2010, and is Noodler's smallest and slimmest fountain pen. It features a steel flexible number 2 nib and a twist piston mechanism.

Unflexible, over-priced pen.
I found it very difficult to use at first, and it isn't as flexible as I hoped it would be.It works better if you use a light touch, but don't expect it to be as flexible as a Brause blue pumpkin for example.LATER - I was not very confident with pens when I wrote this, having used cheap biros for decades. However, now that I have some experience with ink pens, bot fountain and dip, I'm really annoyed with this pen. It barely flexes at all! At this price, and with this description, it really should do what it claims to do. Maybe there was a mistake and this one was fitted with a crappy nib instead of a decent one. For flexi writing, go for a dip pen with a proper flexible nib.

The flexi-nib flexes.
This pen was recommended on the website 'Long Live Pitman's Shorthand' because it is reliable and writes thick and thin, which is much needed. It seems to fulfil these needs.

Don't let the look put you off.
Really lovely writing pen encased in a horrid plastic casing. I wasn't thrilled when I saw it at first, but it really is a great pen.
