Product cover is torn. I didn't like this product as product is cut to very small pieces as it not safe to put in to mouth. Seller must check product before sending it to customer. Careless packing.

Very potent. I just added a little teaspoon to a small pot of boiling water and it was literally so potent. It gave me so much energy throughout the day.

Glycyrrhizin is the active ingredient in Licorice and is often used in liver support, the purpose in my buying this powder. Glycyrrhizin, as reported by NCBI can be toxic if too much is taken and NCBI recommends a daily dose of 2-6 mg max. Since Glycyrrhizin content in raw licorice root can range from 2% to 25%, it is hard to know if you got the 2% variety or the 25% variety or somewhere in between. When I get the powder that is unstandardized I have to assume it is 25% Glycyrrhizin so I do not overdose. If Glycyrrhizin content is only 2% then I am taking 1/24th the Glycyrrhizin that I could be taking! If the mfg of this would assay each batch, Glycyrrhizin content could be stated on the bag ensuring an overdose does not happen, and allowing the user to use the maximum amount allowed meaning THEY WOULD SELL MORE!

I have not used this yet, but it smells good! Very nicely packaged :)

I use this to make teas. It's kind of sweet and add some senna to help with constipation 😆 but it works. Don't add too much senna or you'll have the runs.
