Love this
If you have pain on the back of your neck or shoulders this makes the pain go away and actually makes it feel so good by the way your neck stretched when you lay on it.

It works okay
It feels good after a long day, especially if I happen to find myself on the floor. I only ever use it for a few minutes at a time a few times per week and don't have any issue with it. I am not using this to address any kind of medical/health issue other than some light relaxation. It does have a good bit of "give" and is in no way rigid or hard - I feel that it cradles my neck well.

Kinda worked for me
This neck stretcher did not do what I had hoped but it did alleviate some pain while using it. I had hoped that over time this would get rid of some neck pain I am having. Again, it did help when using it. But the pain came back after an hour or so. When I got massage I was pain free much longer. Also with the massage I’m doing more than a neck stretch. If you have mild irregular pain this may be the device for you.

2 second fix!
I laid my neck across it right of the box. My neck made a mild creaking sound…bam! My stiff neck and tension was relieved!

WARNING: My head, neck, and limbs went numb, too
I read a few people complain about getting numb. I didn't want to believe it. After resting on this unit for 10 minutes, I too developed tingling and numbness sensation and I'm healthy otherwise. I had difficulties standing up! I would recommend using this unit while someone is nearby or you have your full charged phone next to you.My theory is this unit is a bit soft so everyone rests their weight on a nerve. I've used a stiffer unit from another brand that is far better.Be careful. I thought others were exaggerating. They weren't.

Not as effective as a real cervical traction device, but may work for some people.
I have a pinched nerve in my neck and have had formal physical therapy. Cervical traction has been helpful in the past, so I invested in a professional Saunders cervical traction device. That device has a hand pump and a pressure gauge and is my go-to device when my neck issue flares up. But I wanted to try a simpler device to see if it would be as effective. I got this device and find that while it does have traction, it's not nearly as effective as a Saunders unit. When resting on this device, it initially feels quite comfortable. There is a slight pulling sensation as the neck is supported around the curve the of the device. The massage bumps on the device isn't very noticeable. After about 10 minutes, I find the device to be a little straining on the neck and find it puts too much pressure at the top of the neck and not enough support at the bottom. In the end, I don't feel it gives me enough of the traction that I'm used to getting.I still give a 4 stars because each experience is subjective. I can feel that this device does provide traction, so it can be effective for some people. But those used to getting more traction in therapy or with a more advanced device will be disappointed.

LOVE this!
This has been a game changer for neck and shoulder pain; a few minutes on this at the end of a long day, and the pain melts away. This has done what rollers and massage guns couldn't.My only [minor] gripe is that my neck is slightly too long for this to be optimal, as packaged. When using it on a flat surface, my head touches the ground before the best stretch is achieved. My solution is to prop it up on a thick book (and thus give my head a little more space before touching the ground) and occasionally just put it on the edge of a coffee table and let my head dangle. If you've got a short or average neck, this should be great out of the box. For the giraffes like me, we'll still find a way!

Not an impactful tool for me
This Vibit Neck Stretch PLUS was underwhelming for me. I found it unenjoyable to lay down on the bare floor to reap the benefits of this device and even when doing so, did not find that I felt any relief or deep stretch in the neck that made it worth it. I think this belongs in a physical therapy office where the addition of proper technique and equipment would aid in the benefits this device could provide.
