This is one of my favorite products now! My hair sometimes gets build up and tends to get oily. I use this as a pre wash and the vinegar really cuts through any oil and loosens up any product buildup. I use regular shampoo afterwards and my shampoo actually foams. When I rinse the vinegar wash out I do notice my hair is incredibly soft! Love love love it!

Wow, I did not expect to love this pre-wash product so much. It's very effective at removing product buildup and is gentle enough on my 3a curly hair that it doesn't cause any drying or irritation. It actually helps my scalp and hair retain moisture overall because it helps wash out all the product residue that builds up between washes and balance out my scalp better. I noticed my hair was a little less frizzy and curls were definitely more defined and springy, from retaining a better balance of moisture. Scent is very minimal, which is a huge positive for me, and it was super easy to use. My scalp and curly hair are both happier with this pre-wash rinse, and I like it so much I'm considering getting more from this product line/brand. Thumbs up from me!

This is a great rinse to use if you apply hair products regularly. When these products build up, they can cause scalp irritation and dullness in hair. I have had both those problems. This Pre-wash rinse is easy to use, and I feel that it does thoroughly clean my scalp and hair. It is something I will use now every time I wash my hair. I highly recommend it, and I think the price is very reasonable, considering the quality.

This is my first time trying a pre-rinse for my hair. I have scalp psoriasis, which means I am very often a human snow globe, generating prolific amounts of dandruff. I am always looking for products that will help with this, but also that will feel soothing on my very rude, not so friendly scalp. My only real issue with this product is the cap on the bottle. I don't know if I got a faulty one, but I expected a cap that would allow me to open and then close the product, not one where I'd have to hack off the tip and then it would sit open with no way to re-seal it, just waiting for my clumsy elbows to knock it off the shelf and spill it. I was so surprised by this, I spent so long investigating the cap thinking I must be wrong- but, there was no other way for me to use this product than to cut off the tip of the cap. I like the applicator nozzle shape, because it allows you to get down to the scalp easily, and the product is the perfect thickness to be easy to apply and not just run right off your head. I liked the scent of this, and even with my delicate scalp, the formula didn't cause burning or discomfort. Often times, products targeted toward refreshing the scalp are loaded with menthol to feel tingly, and they can really burn if you've scratched your head at all before using them. This was gentle, felt soothing, and was really pleasant overall to use. Do I think it helped my scalp? This I'm not so sure about. It certainly didn't dry out my scalp, which I very much appreciated. My hair also felt nicely moisturized after using this. That being said, I'd think any effects this had would be trumped a bit by the subsequent use of shampoo and then conditioner. I am under no delusions that this product "detoxifies" anything, as that is just a meaningless marketing term. Did my hair feel cleaner? Maybe. Did it do anything to enhance the look/health of my curls? Not really. Did I notice enough benefits that I feel compelled to add an additional step to my hair routine? No. That all being said, this product feels like a nice treat to use, and I'm all about self-care and feeling pampered, so I did enjoy using it. I may just not be a Pre-Rinse kind of girl! If you are, I will say that I enjoyed the scent, feel and overall quality of the product, and I think it would be good a good pick for hair in need of a moisture boost.

I'm quite impressed with this pre-wash! The other pre's I've used in the past have mostly been formulated to protect the hair/scalp, so it's a real treat that this does that (and does it well!) AND it melts away any product build up, detoxifying the scalp and hair. This formula leaves my scalp and roots super clean, but doesn't strip away moisture. My hair is silky, easy to brush/comb, has incredible shine and this REALLY helps combat frizz! The product is generously sized. It is super easy to apply thanks to the squeeze bottle and tapered tip. The formula smells pretty great- very fresh and menthol/minty. It does make my scalp tingle and it feels so good! It's just unfortunate that some of the advertised ingredients are only in 1% or less of the formula- I wish they had a higher concentration.

A great pre-wash to use before shampooing. This has a nice sweet like scent to it. Thought it would smell like ACV but I do smell it in there just not as strong. The product comes in an applicator bottle. I wet my hair with water then apply the pre-wash and massage on my scalp and hair for a couple of minutes. Then I rinse it out and shampoo my hair. My scalp feels great and my hair looks shiny, curls are less frizzy and hair feels so clean. Great product!

I really like this pre shampoo scalp detox. The bottle shape makes it really easy to apply to scalp and hair roots without wasting any. It feels really refreshing and like it's helping to clean your scalp. I shampoo it out after massaging it in good with a silicone scalp massager, then follow up with conditioner, and it has really helped a lot with my fine, curly hair. It is lightly scented.
