Very impressed by this toothbrush!
I saw this toothbrush at CES for two years in a row and finally tried it and I was not disappointed. I have used Sonicare and Oral B iO toothbrushes and had problems with their performance and battery life, not to mention their replacement brush heads were expensive.I purchased the matte aluminum version and it reminds of the look and texture of a MacBook. The packaging itself is very impressive as it reminds me of how Apple packages their devices. The charging cord is magnetic and also like a MacBook. I can easily get 2-3 weeks of use on a full charge with the highest preset mode and 3 minutes brushing duration twice a day. With the app, you can set the toothbrush to have stronger vibrations and oscillation settings but the highest preset was good enough for me to make my teeth feel clean. This toothbrush came with the 3 different types of brush heads that Laifen offers. I like the Ultra-Whitening brush head because the bristles are a little more firm so I can feel the intensity of the vibrations to give my teeth a cleaner feeling. The brush heads were the clear plastic ones so they do feel a little weird when using the toothbrush if the backside comes into contact with my teeth at certain angles when brushing. Laifen does offer the softer plastic brush heads now for this reason so I will be trying those when it is time to buy replacements, which are significantly more cost-effective than replacements for Sonicare and Oral B iO.Overall, I have been quite impressed with this toothbrush!

Powerful Toothbrush, Love it!!
What I LovedUnboxing genuinely impressed meEverything is laid out in tidy layers, and the brush arrives charged. I was brushing within minutes, no digging for cables.Feels great the moment you pick it upThe soft‑touch coating and clean lines give it the same kind of “just right” balance.Instant head‑swap clarityThree bristle options are color‑coded—purple for hard, blue for medium, white/gray for soft. I love the soft one most. Treat my teeth more gentle.App that’s actually usefulSetting duration, intensity, and reminders took less than two minutes, and the settings stick even when you leave your phone in another room.Magnetic charger keeps the counter neatThe handle clicks onto a puck‑style base; no ports to dry out, no guesswork. A full recharge took a little over an hour in my tests.Surprisingly quiet, surprisingly thoroughThe motor hums more than it whines, yet it scrubs plaque better than my old big‑brand sonic brush. My teeth felt polished, not pummeled.Where It MissesHandle is on the short sideIf you’re used to a long, wand‑like grip, this one can feel a bit stumpy until muscle memory kicks in.Keep it out of the splash zonePark it too close to the faucet and water droplets collect on the head. Setting it a few inches back solved the issue for me.

China suppler not providing quality
Update: received a replacement from the company and it worked this time. Product overall is good, I just hope it lasts.Original review: Ordered multiple toothbrushes and they all did not work except 1. Kept getting the flashing purple light trying to charge if for the first time. It’s either a bad batch of toothbrushes or the company has very bad quality issues. They need to speak with their China supplier.

Powerful toothbrush that truly cleans
I'm an ex-Philips electric toothbrush customer. After about a year of use, my Philips Sonicare toothbrush head started to wobble. I checked YouTube and it appears there are many other customers who suffer with this problem. There are videos on how to disassemble the toothbrush and try to fix it yourself. Why did I bother? I bought replacement brush heads and didn't want to lose my "investment". So, what do I do - buy a replacement Sonicare in order to continue using my already purchased brush heads or abandon the product??? I decided to drop Sonicare since their product dropped me.Enter the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush.First plus - it can use the Sonicare brush heads I had previously purchased - Score.Second plus - it cleans MUCH better than any other toothbrush I have ever used.Third plus - the replacement brush heads are MUCH LESS expensive than the Sonicare brushes.Fourth plus - customization of the toothbrush's settings. You can set the speed, angle of the oscillation, set your own brushing timer, and toggle the 30-second vibration on/off - brilliant.Fifth plus - solid construction without a wobbly brush head.Sixth plus - long lasting battery that charges via a USB-C charger rather than a dedicated, proprietary charger.Seventh plus - beautiful, ergonomic design - it fits my hand perfectly and is easy to hold with my fingertips. It is very well sealed and I have no worries about getting it wet.Eighth plus - made and packaged with tremendous care. The brush heads come in sealed capsules. After using the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush my teeth feel very clean, fresh, and smooth. It reminds me of the way my teeth feel after a professional cleaning by my dentist/hygienist. No other toothbrush (manual or electric) has ever provided me with this level of clean. I actually look forward to brushing because it cleans so well.I advise you to buy additional brush heads. Because the toothbrush brushes about 60,000 cycles per minute, the brush heads wear out faster than when I used the Sonicare. This is not a quality issue with the brush heads. It is because the brushing intensity is much greater than other toothbrushes. The Sonicare brush heads wore out just as fast when I used them with the Laifen. It makes sense. The toothbrush is doing a lot more work. That's a good thing. It's also good that the Laifen replacement brush heads are very reasonably priced. i replace my brush head every month.i have read some comments regarding dental pain when using the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush. I have not experienced this at all. I have accidentally bumped the brush head into my teeth and have not had a problem or pain. If you feel pain when you tap your tooth, you should probably see a dentist.I have also read some comments about the need for the app. The app is used to set the customization features of the toothbrush. Once you dial in your brushing preferences, you will likely not use the app again except to make changes. I really like being able to configure the toothbrush's settings to my preferences. This is a major benefit.Overall, I rate the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush as the best toothbrush I have ever owned. I plan to buy several more as gifts for my family members. Dental hygiene and care are very important to me and this toothbrush has become an essential element in preserving my health.Update: One other big plus for the Laifen - it doesn't have a "pressure indicator". This is a good thing. The point of failure on both of my Sonicare toothbrushes is the wobbly "pressure" feedback stem. Here's the bottom line - the reason most people press too hard while brushing is because the toothbrush doesn't make their teeth feel clean. In contrast, the Laifen makes my teeth feel clean and I have no urge to press harder on my teeth while brushing. In fact, the Laifen is so powerful that I just let it do its job and there is no need for pressure.
