ACT II Xtreme Butter Popcorn, 2.75 Oz, 12 Ct (Pack of 2)

I sent this particular popcorn to my son, at his request, as part of a food care package...as his mom, this is the first time I found out that he likes extra butter on his popcorn, and being microwavable means he does not have to deal with the old school ways of popping corn...

Price compared to supermarket was better. The words Xtreme Butter had me worried that the butter would be dripping down my arm after popping . Not the case. I would say about 50% coverage of butter which is actually perfect for me.

Great taste who doesn’t like popcorn

I order these again and again—they’re just that good! The bags are a great size, and the buttery smell is amazing as soon as it starts popping. In my microwave, 2 minutes is perfect—no burning, just fluffy, fresh popcorn. Most of the kernels pop, and it’s always super fresh. Definitely my go-to movie snack!

While Act II is a decent microwave popcorn, the "Xtreme butter" in its name is a bit of a misnomer in my opinion as it doesn't taste to me any different than any other brand of popcorn touting its buttery flavor. I was disappointed in the taste and look of the popped corn, as the word "Xtreme" led me to think... well.....that it would have an extreme amount of butter (fake or otherwise) flavor in its product. In order for me to get the "Xtreme butter" experience, I had to drizzle melted butter over my bowl of popcorn. I just feel like I was misled into purchasing this product.
