Scour the internet and you will find a number of sites selling expensive vests aimed at men who suffer from Gynocomastia. These vests tend to be very expensive (£40-50) and are advertised as medical solutions, not just clothing. The Handerdun vest comes in at under £15, which sounds like a steal, so is it any good?The answer is yes, the chest compression is good, not too tight but effective and natural looking. However, like a lot of compression vests it is a bit too tight around the waist.I'm only moderately overweight but suffer from quite bad Gynocomastia so for me chest compression is important but I don't really need the belly or love handle compression part...The main issue with this vest (like almost all compression vests) is that a man's waist cross section is naturally not round, it is oval or rectangular depending on fitness levels. All compression vests seem to give an unnatural tube like appearance to the waist (if the compression is too great), this gives the impression of a sausage.The problem is that the vest manufacturers are selling an overall solution to shaping a man's torso, however the body isn't really like that and in reality needs different compression in different areas and when it comes to a flat stomach, nothing is really going to work there anyway. So one needs to be realistic about what a vest like this can do.My advice is go a size bigger than you think you will need, this will provide the chest compression but a little more room around the waist.Bear in mind I weight train regularly and have pretty big shoulders and chest muscles so a tight vest enhances those to a degree. If you are a regular overweight or obese guy who doesn't work out and has a lot of belly fat (ie 36-38 inch waist) then no vest is going to make you look thinner.

Went for a 'Medium' whereas I wear a Large tshirt, and is doing a good job (currently sat wearing it!). Comfortable enough although naturally you'll know you're wearing a 'tight vest'. Vest extends below the waist and isn't riding up the body, seems to be staying in place. As others have said, pull the vest up your body as opposed to over your head. The outline of the vest is visible when wearing white shirts, as any vest would, so bear that in mind!

This vest would be good except, as one other reviewer pointed out, if you have a bit of a belly it’s just right on the chest but too tight on the belly. This is exactly what I found. It fitted perfectly on my chest but was too tight on my belly to the point of painful. As I suffer with acid reflux this was quite a problem as I started having an attack within a couple of minutes. Had it been looser around the midriff it would have been perfect but unfortunately it wasn’t so I’ve had to return.

Great product! I’m 5’11”, about 92kg and usually between a medium and large size. The medium size of this fits me well. Will definitely buy again.

I wear a large and I ordered medium because that's my goal weight. It fits well and does what it says it should. The only problem is its boiling hot in the summer, but on the flip side it'll be nice and insulating in the colder months, and will save me having to bring a coat on nights out.

Great for that little flattening if u have a flabby chest don't expect this to work miracles, i would say its for people that have lost weight and need that last bit of stubborn chest fat flattening or at-least that is what i'm using it for.

I will update my review because maybe I' can take some responsibility for requesting the wrong size as the vest I received was well made and strong I did not buy it for body shaping but a back support for a an an old fracture in my lower back recently diagnosed & I thought this would help with my weak core muscles take the strain I think this would have been ideal had the size been correct. Would I buy it again? Yes if I was sure I could get the sizing correct

Really amazing and fits very well. Give it a few tries and after the third one you will get used to it. Also a great extra inner layer for the cold winter months. gives a great silhouette when wearing formal shirts too
