Having been on th receiving end of some hospital care, these gadgets were noted,!Had so many different types over the years .....forehead strip, flimsy plastic ones...These are really no nonense ....easy to grip ...no slip . You must have one if the plastic hygienic ear covers on the end before it will work, There is a volume on and volume off button so check if you want it to beep after the read is taken. The small temp readout screen is clear to read,REcomended for quick and efficient temp taking!

This is a great simple ear thermometer that works perfectly and comes with spare tips so you can use it for a while. The tips are pretty universal so you can buy any replacement. It seems to be accurate compared to my other thermometers and I've not had to replace the battery in the time that I've had it - would recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent ear thermometer. Very easy to use, quick and accurate reading.Comes with 24 disposable caps (you can order more from Amazon) and you will need to install a cap on top of the device before using it. If you don't install a cap the device with display a message on a red coloured screen ("CAP"). Once the cap is installed it's ready for use. It takes less than a second for the results and I can confirm that it's accurate.There is a trigger on top that helps remove the used cap without touching it. Very good idea for hygiene reasons. The best part is that you can mute the device which is great if you don't want to wake your kids up.Excellent value for what you get, I would recommend it.
