6 Alarm Vibrating PEDIATRIC e-pill MeDose Watch with Count-down Timer

Let me say upfront that I liked this watch very much and it works exactly as expected. I bought this watch for my 9 year old daughter. She needed an alarm watch for use at school for medication reminders. it's easy enough for her to set and reset the alarms by herself giving her a needed measure of control. The really key feature was the availability of both a vibrating and tone alarm. in a classroom setting the vibrating setting avoids unnecessary disruptions, and is noticeable enough to make it an effective reminder. This watch gets 4 instead of 5 stars because the watch is somewhat large for a 9 yr old girl's wrist - having said that I don't think they could have made the watch smaller and preserved the vibrating feature.

This is a really awesome watch. Setting the alarms can be tricky because there are lots of parameters to program. But that is what makes this watch awesome, there are lots of parameters to use. We have a complicated program: vibrate for this alarm, vibrate and ring for this other alarm. Some are daily, twice daily, once a week. The vibrating is strong enough to get the attention of the wearer but isn't overly stimulating. I'm not a big fan of the band. It is velcro and *very* large. Too large for a child and I messed it up when I tried to make it smaller. I'd buy a different band. Velcro is great, it just needed to be smaller.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson who is a Type 1 Diabetic. He wears it at school to remind him itis time to go to the nurse for a check of his blood sugar. It has been real helpful!!

Not at all what we thought. Looking to set an alarm and have it vibrate like a timer. Doesn't do this

My son is nine, and thought the idea of a vibrating watch would be great to remind him to check his blood sugar while at summer camp. This watch band has to wrap TWICE around his wrist, which makes the face of the watch stick up really high. So it looks huge on him, and to add to it, his friends all told him it looked "baby-ish" so there is no way he will wear it. I spent $100 on this watch that he is now mortified to wear.
