I am rating this product 5-stars, very bright, special purpose, flexible gooseneck, solid construction, reasonable price. Read on for details.The reason why I like this light so much is because when it is late and my eyes are tired, this light is able to illuminate a wide area while casting away shadows, thus reducing eye strain.The magnetic remote is required to operate the lamp (so don’t lose it) and controls everything from brightness and white color balance. The magnets work pretty good and stick to the lamp well.The two lamp heads can fold together as one or spread arms out and everything in-between. The heads are also able to pivot or swivel so they point in different angles from the floor to the ceiling. The gooseneck is very flexible and can be contorted in a huge range of motion.The light cast is very bright for the 20 watts used at maximum brightness. At minimum the energy draw is very low around 4-5 watts.Assembling this unit, I felt the wiring could be refined. Difficult to put in words, but there are extra connections that need to be attended to while screwing the post poles together. I’ve never seen this approach before. See pictures.At full price, I would probably dock a star for being a bit pricey, but I feel that the coupons or sales make this unit affordable if area lighting is desired.

I got this lamp for use over my task table in the living room. My husband doesn’t really like light and yet I want to do projects sometimes but can’t because I can’t see. This flight allows me to place it over the table and your angle away from him. I also like that it folds out so that my light coverage can be more concentrated or wider depending on what I’m doing.As somebody else mentioned, it’s not aesthetically pleasing when it’s all twisted and turned, but it is very functional. It did take a few minutes to put together which is OK. The bottom is weighted fairly well so while it could be tipped over, it’s not overly tippy.The remote is good and yet you are sunk without it. There is no switch on the light which is not a good feature. For us, this lamp is a winner.

the lash light was easy to setup and use the angle of the light made it easier to do lashes and see every single lash on my client eye, the light is very bright and that's great for me. the cord is long enough to plug in the wall and bring to the table. the light has three settings for use which is great depending on where you are in the house and the sun direction Solar lights are great to have for many reasons. You don’t have to worry with plugging them up or having lights when the power is out. They’re easy to install and use the set up was done in no time. The one thing you will have to worry about is if you don’t live in a city that has a lot of sunlight, you will struggle at night with the solar power staying for more than a couple hours otherwise, the design and chicness of the lights are great. They’re easy to use and great to have around the house. The cost is very efficient to what you get. This came as a pack of 24 which can fit all around the house and up and down the pathway to the door. Highly recommend it.

I needed a lamp to go behind a loveseat with two recliners. It sits in the middle, and both seats now have illumination. Having the remote control makes it easier to use than leaning over the back of the recliner is. The flexibility and length of the light bars makes it more useful than a normal standing lamp.I light the fact that you can also been each side down if needed. I also like the ability to change the light color and brightness with the dimmer. I really like the timer function. I can set the light to turn off, so the ability to leave the living room with the light on is safer than leaving it in the dark.The simple design is attractive for any decor.

I got this for indirect lighting towards the wall but it wasn't as bright as I expected for 24W. After taking the diffuser strips out they are much brighter and amazing as very bright task lighting on the desk.Sturdy base. Gooseneck holds in place well. Swivel head is quite sturdy. Lamp swivel and rotation adjustments are easy and very configurable. Rigid pole ends 3.5 feet from the base, and the flexible arm extends 1.5 feet.Light is somewhat dim for 24W. It's around a typical 13W LED bulb. As is with other such lights, the diffuser blocks some of the light. Dims from 100% to 8%, with 5 levels (plus night light's 1.4% brightness). 5 color temperature steps.Remote works well. RF (not infrared) so it will work without having to point it towards the lamp. Strong magnet on back lets it stick to lamp pole or other metal object. It would have been nice to have at least an on/off touch switch on the lamp, as others I've tried have.Unit WILL work with smart plug; when power is applied lamp turns on to last setting (if it was on when power was unplugged). Power draw is 24W on 100% brightness. Uses 24V 1A power supply with a 3.4mm barrel.With a simple modification I made it great for desk lighting. I removed the diffuser strips and it made a big difference (two 1.5mm set screws on each light, pull cover away from center). The beam is a more confined angle of about 80 degrees, with a fairly hard edge. This is nicer for desk illumination because there is no beam shining towards your eyes when they are up above the work.
