Cradle cap
I've tried a million different cradle cap shampoos and cure alls. This cleared up my babies cradle cap in two weeks. Wish I started with this. The scent is very strong but completely worth it

Misleading
The name on product bottle says " Birch Oil" and as an ingredient is says "100% steam distilled oil from the seeds of the Trachyspermum Amni" which is not a Birch (Betula) oil, but it is a bishop's weed.

Pinesol smell
This smells like pinesol. Thought birch was more a root beer smell.

Wrong essential oil
This says "Birch oil" and betula (scientific name for Birch trees) in the description...and it's not. It's made from carom seeds (trachyspermum ammi), which is an herb.

False advertising- not birch oil
This is not birch (betula) oil. It is from trachyspermum ammi. False advertising.

I'm not using this product for what it's intended so my review is already off track. I'm creating a dog scent tracking and birch was one of the common scents to use. Maybe I will try it for what it's intended for as well. Finally arrived in the postal service. I have to say it was extremely WELL PACKED. I've never seen something so well packaged. Awesome to see.

This birch essential oil, extracted from the bark and leaves of the tree, arrives thoughtfully packaged and securely sealed. It comes with a handy replacement lid, complete with a smooth, well-made glass pipette for easy, precise application. The packaging also includes useful details, such as the oil’s packing date in July 2024 and an expiry date of June 2026. The oil itself is crystal clear and light, almost silky when you pour it. It blends beautifully with carrier oils and has a fragrance that feels like a breath of fresh air. There is a sweetness to it, mixed with an earthy, woodsy tone that reminds me of a forest after a rain shower. It is such a revitalising scent—it instantly lifts my spirits. What I especially love is how versatile this oil is. It is not only great for aromatherapy but works wonders for skincare too. Its natural anti-inflammatory benefits calm irritated skin, promoting a smoother complexion and encouraging skin regeneration while enhancing elasticity. Also, the oil’s astringent nature also tightens the skin, reducing the appearance of pores and giving a more youthful feel. I always dilute it with a carrier oil before applying it to my skin. This not only allows it to spread more evenly but also ensures a gentler and safer application, making it suitable to use daily without any issues. When applied, the oil feels lightweight and soothing. It sinks in fairly quickly, leaving no greasy traces behind, just a soft cooling sensation as it hydrates the skin. I find it works beautifully with my sensitive skin, which tends to react easily. In short, I am very pleased with the quality of this oil and the positive effect it has on both my skin and mood. Its sweet, woody scent brings me joy, and I would gladly recommend it.

Ordered this for scent work with our dog but should have noted another reviewer flagged that it wasn't birch oil. The product packaging states it is birch oil, with the ingredients listed as: "Trachyspermum ammi (birch oil)". Trachyspermum ammi is ajwain/ajowan, aka bishop's weed, and is not at all related to birch. See pics. I've not used birch oil before so don't really know what it should smell like and haven't opened the bottle to check. Ajwain apparently smells a bit like thyme, though, so I assume should be easily distinguishable. But it doesn't inspire confidence in product quality when two unrelated plant species are marketed as one on the packaging. Returned for refund and will purchase elsewhere.
