Great for science or just play!
These are great little tubes that make a super simple science project. A couple of notes - we used 2 2L bottles and they worked great. I think they'd work with smaller bottles too, as long as the opening is the same size as the 2 liter bottles. Make sure you take the plastic ring off your bottles first (thank you to the other reviewer!) and only fill one bottle 1/3 of the way. Just for fun, we added glitter and food coloring and it looks really cool. I also like that there are 5 pieces so if you want to use them in the classroom you'll have a few stations. Especially for the price, I would definitely recommend them.

Tornado creator
These connecters are easy to use. Works best on a 2 liter bottle. They will show a tornado by just one flip and by being moved in a circle motion. No leakage occured for me. Great quality. Also, a great price for 5 connectors. My students were so excited to watch the tornados!!

Works well, vibrant colors
The media could not be loaded. This set of “tornado in a bottle” connectors works very well! It only takes one small circular shake to get the whirlpool to form. The colors are strikingly vibrant, and look great. The connectors fit perfectly, you just need to take off the small loop left behind when you twist off the bottle’s cap. So far, no issues with leaking either.Great set, highly recommend!

Very reasonable price for a bottle of fun!
Kids absolutely love these tornado tubes. They are best used with 2-liter bottles but can also work with 1-liter (although the "tornado" doesn't last as long). Adding glitter to the water makes it a sparkly vortex. Put a couple of monopoly houses in it and you're on your way to Oz!

Fun experiment
This is a fun little project that with a little fiddling works well. Fun for an environmental science lab.

Kids loved this
My kids loved this for making cyclones. I had a blast with it too and I gave the extras to other parents at my sons school.

Great fun for everyone
They used to sell these at the Discovery Channel store way back when malls were still relevant. I had a blast with these as a kid. Just note that unless you're using a 2 liter bottle you're not going to be able to use this. It's won't work on small water bottles or anything under 1 liter
