Perfect!
Lightweight, quiet, and not plastic! I'm a 5'6" grandma and former nurse who wanted some way to get good weight-bearing exercise in my home. This jump rope is working well! I jump on a camping pad/yoga mat to protect my joints and after a week, still no pain My 6-year-old granddaughter wanted to try it today so I tied a knot at each end to shorten it for her. That worked perfectly too. Thank you for a great product.

Doesn't hurt too much
My 8yo was complaining about his jump rope hurting him when he was messing up. I got him this one that has a soft rope that even though he still gets hit with it, it doesn't hurt as much.

The cotton rope is not heavy so there must be a bit of personal innovation that must be made to it. For example, tying a knot at the center of the rope length to give it "weight."The handle is hallowed for possible adjustments to the rope length. Yes, the wooden handle is made from real wood.

Perfect for the price, and adjustable
Works just fine and it's cute and inexpensive. What's not to love?

No so great
Like others have pointed out, the rope is a little light so it doesn't have much momentum. It also gets kind of twisted because the rope isn't flexible enough. It just doesn't work so well. Especially at slower speed, it's easy for it to stall out and just hit you in the back of the head.
