I live in humid central Virginia where it is difficult to cool the upstairs rooms. This is significantly more cost effective, quieter, and environmentally friendly than an additional air conditioning unit, howeveryou must be diligent if you're not in an arid place. The ice packs provided fit perfectly, but due to the nature of the running water absorbing heat, in especially hot weather they can loose their coolness in about 45-60 minutes. However if you have bigger cooler packs (like the typical bricks) they will last longer, and if you keep a couple frozen water bottles in rotation then you can have comfortable cool air at all times. I also freeze small containers of water and pop out the large ice cubes for this purpose. I don't find any of this particularly difficult to upkeep and am otherwise happy with this unit beyond wishing the tank were about a gallon bigger for convenience. The front display that goes into sleep mode and the remote are great for adjusting modes from bed, which is often where I feel warmest. The fan itself works great and it's swivel blades for an oscillation effect without the entire unit needing to move are great.

I ordered this a couple months ago for use in a guest bedroom. It worked okay, did not cool as much as I hoped and it was in a room with no direct sunlight and insulated drapes. It doesn’t have a drain on the bottom of the water tank. The remaining water in the tank grew mold and I had to drain it by turning the whole fan upside down in the sink and soaking the water up in the tank with towels. Too much work and extremely awkward. It should have a drain hole. If there is one, I didn’t find it. Now it leaks. It leaks from the top and from the bottom. It’s going to the dump.

The media could not be loaded. The upper half level of my house is one long room that doesn't get the hvac well. I have this fan by a window on one end and it's been incredible. Keeps air moving, let's me know temp of room, the different power levels have been great and the cooling feature has gone above and beyond my expectations. It's as good as having an in room AC unit but the electricity use is a fraction.Really happy I bought this fan!

The media could not be loaded. lowkey was worried bc there wasn’t a lot of reviews, but it worked a lot better than i expected! the cooling feature works w/o hosing you down, and as a standard fan, it’s really nice.It’s a great size to easily fit into tighter storage spaces, it’s noise level is pretty low even on the highest setting, and the three speed options provide a good range. overall, i’m happy

The fan part was fine but it was not cool like the ad says it would be at all.

The motor stopped working after a day. This did not seem well made and I would not recommend.
