Mountain House Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken | Freeze Dried Backpacking & Camping Food | 6-Pack

Packaging for this Mountain House meal is just the same as all their other meals extremely rugged and well made. There is absolutely no spice heatwise to this meal but it definitely is extremely tasty. It has a great level of all around nutrients and is very easy and fast to make in under 10 minutes. The noodles were firm yet thoroughly cooked. The sauce was creamy and flavorful in the chicken tasted like it was just prepared prior to dropping into the fettuccine alfredo sauce. There were plenty of pieces of chicken of substantial size in this meal as well. All in all the wife and I both enjoyed it thoroughly and it was a great meal had under the trees in the grass sitting at a picnic table enjoying the outdoors.

To be honest I was skeptical about spending the 10 bucks or so on these type of meals because they r pricey but I like to be prepared and like to no my family is gonna be taken care of and the way the world is these days and all the natural disasters and the uncertainty in people in power you never know what's gonna happen these ha e a 25 year shelf life and taste great a must buy for anyone who is preparing or just wants a good meal for the next camping trip i mean it's just super convenient to be honest wither way just add water shake and eat super simple

Still the best after all these years

My wife and I really enjoy Mountain House freeze dried meals. We needed items in our emergency supplies that would last more than a few months, and since these have an approximate shelf life of 30 years, we're glad to have them in bulk. We recently went on a camping trip to sample several different popular MH meals, and rated each one. Fettuccini Alfredo rated 8.5 out of 10. Good enough to stand on it's own, but really worked with grated parmesan and fresh cracked pepper. Enough for two.

Fantastic. I spend every summer in a remote mntn location. Going to a store, cooking, cleanup is an all day affair and huge ordeal. These MH meals are a life saver. Easy, delish. I don’t find them too salty. This 2 servings. You need to supplement with nuts, bars, cheese etc as you’ll want more food if you’re starving. If you’re feeling like fettuccine Alfredo with chicken you’ll be satisfied. I buy these whenever I can. Great to have around for camping, dorms, late night etc. great value to me!
