This product is exactly as described with one exception that I mention below (and for which I've docked one star). In terms of ingredients, this has some important vitamins and Zinc, so will complement anyone deficient in these particular vitamins or looking for a top up. Zinc in particular is hard to come by in these types of multi-vitamin drinks so I was really pleased to find this one. The taste is decent. Not exactly pleasant, but doesn't make you gag! It has a slight hint of mojito, as it says, and so from that perspective isn't quite as sweet as orange or some other variant. It's easy enough to dispense in a glass of water, and as you can see from the picture it dilutes fairly quickly.However, the sachets say effervescent, and it really isn't. This isn't like some other famous brands that come out very fizzy. This has the slightest hint of fizzy, but I would say virtually none. I think the product is still worth buying, and I will complete the course, but I was expecting something effervescent and this is not.

Great addition for mornings

I am now of an age which makes me more alert to opportunities to preserve or enhance my health & fitness. I take some practical steps myself to achieve those aims but am more susceptible to marketing of products claimed to offer me resilience against ailments. For instance, regarding self-help practical steps – I devised my own charity fundraising challenge to improve my fitness: I cycled 700 miles at age 70 in 7 days, raising over £8K for 3 charities. I never used to take any vitamins, food supplements with health claims, etc, but recently I do.Rum is my favourite alcoholic drink (not healthy, but I only average about 1 moderate measure a week) & I enjoy the flavours of lime & mint, so on the very rare occasions I drink a cocktail, I quite enjoy a Mojito.I followed the directions on a Blue Planet Effervescent Immunity Vitamin Sachet & dissolved the contents in a 250ml glass of cold water. However, had I not ordered the Blue Planet sachets in Mojito flavour, I would not have guessed from the taste that that was supposed to be the flavour of them! Indeed, my initial swallow was distasteful because I drank it very shortly after putting the water in the glass. Before drinking it, I had noticed the effervescent effect, as the mixture bubbled in the glass. Drinking it while it was still effervescing, I almost choked, not apparently from gas given off - it felt more like a puff of powder into the back of my throat. I am fairly confident that was not actually the case, but that is what it felt like. I left the rest until the white, bubbly mixture had stilled & cleared of bubbles. It was then more pleasant to drink but of unidentifiable flavour.As regards the most important aspect of this food supplement, its effectiveness in providing increased immunity, therefore protection against ailments, it is impossible to detect. True, I have not suffered any such ailments while taking them, but I do not know whether I have actually encountered any situations when I was at risk of such ailments, to which I would have succumbed had I not had Blue Planet Effervescent Immunity Vitamin Sachet’s protection. I will allow that they MAY have protected me, however due to my disappointment at the flavour, & my unpleasant experience of the first occasion I drank one without waiting for the effervescent phase of the white powder & water mixing to cease, I have awarded only 3 stars.

As described, happy with the product

The blue planet immunity drink is really pleasant to drink! It has a mild mojito flavour and has a slight fizz to it and is nice to drink.It’s very easy to mix up, you just need to add 250ml of water to one sachet and consume daily. The box contains 28 sachets so should last you just under a month.This is really great to have if you don’t like taking tablets and these are great for on the go or travel.

This is an interesting vitamin drink. It dissolves well in water and does taste like mojito. I find the flavour quite sweet and I think personally I’d rather just take a supplement tablet.The vitamins are helpful in maintaining overall health.

A lovely plant based mix. Great amount of small pouched to use on a day to day basis. Great for immunity, helps to build and strengthen it whilst also providing many other essentials nutrients and vitamins that are not found in every drink and food. Easy to mix, tastes well. Definitely recommend.

I am new to this store and this is my first time to test this vegan effervescent food supplement with vitamin D2, vitamin C and zinc.These are 28 sachets that dissolve very easily in a glass of water. I have decided to take it in the morning but it doesn’t quite specify much if better absorbed with or without food.I am taking it after breakfast as this is the moment of the day I would normally take my vitamin D.The taste is lovely; the formula uses only vegan-friendly ingredients and natural flavouring.I feel that I have more energy in the morning since taking this sachet, so hopefully it will help with immunity and more strength as I continue using it.
