I took my car through the car wash and these hinges fell off from the brackets that go between the hinge and help prevent the screws from scratching the hood but I got rid of the little bracelet that came with these. Screws that secure the hinges on might scratch the paint under the hood but I’d rather have scratched paint at the lip under the hood than a broken windshield if the hinges were to fall off from the bracket coming loose. They also come with some L wrenches but they are very cheap and strip easily. They are also the only ones I’ve found so far that actually fit the screws that come with this set.

Great product, easy installation

It is easy to install, compact and sturdy. Some screws rusted after a few weeks install on my vehicle. Value for money.

Excessive flex. Set screws rely on thin tab that does not stay in place. Set screws loosen quickly. In short, they are junk unless you want to drill holes and use tech screws.

They work for the most part but if you try and tighten them so they won't back themselves out the bracket slides out of position

Fits as advertised. I took away one star because the padding could be better. I ended up using a scrap piece of neoprene for extra cushion. Not specific to this product but it takes a little getting used to having objects (ie lights) on the hood.

After just two weeks after installation, there is oxidation on the screws.
