Dude, I am soooo impressed with this battery replacement. The battery life is ah-mazing! It's always kind of scary to get parts offline, but this has worked out super well. The Dyson battery we had ran out fairly quickly, and we kept having to recharge it. This one does MY WHOLE HOUSE before we have to drop it on the charge,r and I am thrilled! We have tile and hardwood in most of the house, except for bedrooms and a playroom, and we were constantly doing a couple of rooms with the old battery and charging, a couple more and charging. It was frustrating, and this battery has changed that for us and gives us enough juice to get A LOT more done! I am so grateful for affordable, compatible replacements like this one and can't recommend it more highly!

I just installed this ~5 minutes ago and so far it works great. The serial number for my vacuum starts with PM8 for anyone else wondering about compatibility. Install was incredibly easy - just 3 screws. I'll update in the future with how well it lasts...

replacement was easy and battery held a charge well for about 8 months, then started to wane now it's finally dead after about a year and change. not bad, not great. UPDATED as the seller reached out an we came to a resolution despite it being a bit past the warranty. A+ service

Holds a charge for about 10 minutes, which is enough to do my house on the high setting. I can't ask for anything more. I have only recently bought the thing so I can't comment on how long it holds a full charge or lasts during use. However, I'll offer this word to the powers that be at Dyson: Stop being out of stock of items and people won't buy from your competitors. Until then, we will!

Well, the customer service chat is worthless. I wanted to get in contact with the seller to see if there was anything they could do. Enough of the runaround just gonna leave a review so people know what they're getting into. First of all when I first came less than 60 days ago and I hooked it up to the Dyson, it worked fantastic. It ran far longer than the original. It wasn't even close. I thought it was if it can last about a year, I would be extremely pleased. Well the honeymoon phase is over. I haven't exactly set a timer to this all I can tell you is it last about 25% of what it did brand new and again it's like 52 days old. If I could've got a hold of the seller, maybe they could've sent me a replacement due to the fact that perhaps it was a defective battery. After searching other people's reviews, I noticed that when they found a way to contact the seller, the seller did not return so I see the writing on the wall. Now I have to wonder if it's worth investing in another non-Dyson battery. I mean yes you save money compared to the Dyson battery at first, but if it's only gonna last you a couple months then you're actually paying much more. Anyway, it's my fault. I trusted the battery to do much better than this. My advice to anyone looking at this battery replacement to monitor the date you bought it and put it in use and maybe start watching the time. If you notice it getting less and less within 30 days, you better contact Amazon or you're just gonna lose the total cost of the battery. As a sidenote, I noticed, of course, after the fact that this item has been returned often. Again, my fault I didn't look at the page close enough had I seen that I wouldn't have taken the risk to begin with.

My original battery stopped holding its charge. This was very easy to replace just 2 screws and it actually lasts longer than what I remember the original batteries lasting. It was nice it came with 2 extra filters so it feels like a brand new vacuum!

Excellent replacement. Easy enough to install (watch a quick YouTube video to help) and then worked perfectly. Vacuum got a new lease on life!

Tenemos la dyson desde hace muchos años y se lleva un buen trote porque somos cinco en casa. Esta es la segunda batería que compramos para sustituir a la original. La anterior salió regulera, pero esta yo diría que es incluso mejor que la que trajo el aparato de origen. Dura mucho y se carga en un tiempo razonable. cinco estrellas le pongo.

Initially thought this was great, got the Dyson working again and battery life was pretty good. However, degraded pretty quickly (with not an awful lot of use to be honest) and 18 months in it doesn’t give more than 15 seconds before the Dyson shuts down. If I leave it 10 seconds or so then it works again but that just repeats for a few minutes until it gives up altogether. Unfortunately therefore would not recommend.
