I'm a Library Director and I give this book an A+. The story itself is charming and will help children understand that there is a whole world going on in their gardens and yards. The illustrations add so much life to the pages! Just beautifully done!

This book has easily become our top pick in our house. The story alone is so sweet, and so well written. Then add on top the INCREDIBLE illustrations and quality of the pages, it’s just a true heirloom book! Our little one loves following along the journey & calling out items on each page. We will cherish this book forever!

I enjoyed the story as much as my granddaughters. Cutest little story and great pictures to go along with it.

Illustrations are beautiful and have lots of images to talk about. Both grandsons liked it, but it was too long and detailed for 2 year old. He checked out pretty fast. However 3 1/2 year old raptly identified with Addie and other characters and stayed interested almost to the end. Both enjoyed it while they were attentive.

So disappointed in the condition of the book. It was a gift but now returning to (hopefully) get a copy in better condition. I even went to my order to double check to see if I picked “used but functional” nope, ordered a brand new copy.

This book was absolutely gorgeous! My 3 and 5 year old sat with me and listened to the story. The 3 year old loved all of the pictures and the story kept my 5 year old captivated the entire time. I loved the puns! We will have to get a physical copy of the book for our bookshelf. I love adding books like this to our collection that tell stories about brave adventures! I think it would be well suited for kids 6-10 year olds.

I haven't read the book myself, but I gave it to my nephew's daughter and was told she loved it.
