The pattern was very nice, yarn and punch needle worked well just not with material that came included for using. I found an alternate material that worked much better.

Very disappointing to have the fabric arrived damaged. Even worse is that you're not getting a ball of yarn per color. You're getting short strips which will require reloading the needle many times. Not exactly the process you want for a starter kit. I'm also highly doubtful that the amount of green provided is enough to complete the project.

Big disappointment. Been doing these punch needle kits for a few years, so I'm no newbie. Bought this kit for a car trip over the holidays. Ran out of 3 colors - the gold (447), black (105) and the green (540). I have some black to make up for that insufficiency, but ended up having to add a completely different color inside the flowers with some yarn I had on hand to make up for the missing gold. Also, I don't have a green on hand to match the insufficient green, and I can't find a match at the craft store. It says on the box you can contact Dimensions for extra yarn, but when you go to dimensions-crafts.com it redirects you to Amazon! So basically I either have an incomplete project, or I have to pull the green out completely and use a different green that I have on hand. This kit was NOT CHEAP so this is a big disappointment.

Should have read the reviews first. There’s not enough thread for multiple colors to complete the design. The cloth is cheap and unforgiving if you need to correct a stitch. The different colors are provided in strands instead of balls of string. So you need to constantly rethread your needle. Would not purchase again.
