Great (Saltwater) Blade for Wade Fishing
The Morakniv M-13216 was just what I was looking for to use in saltwater (of course, it works else where too) when wade fishing or on my kayak, or EDC and hunting for that matter. I've already got a couple Mora's and they all take and hold a very sharp edge without too much work on my Ken Onion sharpener and a little stropping. This one is exceptional as well, with an outstanding "price-value". Normally I am not too pleased with a plastic sheath, but for a salt/wet environment - this one "locks" in the blade nicely, is easy to hang on my belt or vest or sling pack, and makes the knife quickly accessible. The stainless is excellent. Yes, you will be a spot of rust here and there in the salt - which is easily rubbed off with steel wool and a spot of oil. Sandvik is a very good quality of stainless steel with good hardness for a hard working knife. The size of the blade and overall size is like Goldilocks said: "Just Right!"

Sharp and Durable
I have so many Mora knives that it borders on lunacy. The reason is because of their high quality and ease of use. Yes, they are all extremely sharp right out of the box, and it takes quite a bit of use for them to begin to start to dull. That, however, has never been a problem, as they are very easy to put a wicked edge on and return them to their original sharpness level. The stainless variety of this particular Companion model is extremely robust for such a lightweight knife, and is very rust resistant, as well. It's stain resistant, not stain and rust proof, so it's still best to occasionally add a light coat of oil to the blade. The functionality of the Companion is on par with many knives that are ten times the cost. From cutting boxes, rope, opening envelopes to heavier use outdoors and for the majority of bushcrafting needs, the Companion is a solid performer for a fraction of the cost of some of the other knives out there. Lastly, the Scandi grind and minimalist design is, at least for me, a thing of beauty. The plastic sheath might not be as pleasing to the eyes, but it is definitely made well and quite utilitarian enough to attach to a thinner belt or place in a work bag.

My god this edge retention!!!
I had read over and over and over on Reddit about people in bushcraft/camping circles gushing over Morakniv (and especially the companion) and I have to say they’re correct. The price is so affordable, the knife is light, SUPER durable, sharp as heck, and the metal is shiny to boot. First thing I did with this knife was cut up some branches in my backyard for kindling and do a little whittling, about a month later my girlfriend needed me to make a small incision on a baby bottle, cut like a dream. I had let it sit in my closet for a bit (too hot recently to camp) but the blade is just as sharp as when I bought it and not a lick of rust, and I’m pretty bad about remembering to clean blades after use. You CANNOT go wrong buying this knife, don’t let the “not full tang” discourage you, it’s tough, it’s sharp, and it’s cheap if you do somehow end up breaking it you can easily get another. No problems with shipping and it came in on time. Excellent product! 5/5!!!

Good Budget Knife
For the price, this is an excellent knife. I've got it as a backup knife when I want to carve or cut objects for bushcraft while not wearing down my main knife.

Great outdoor knife
My husband loves this as his multipurpose outdoor knife when we go camping. Comes with a very nice edge and it holds well. Cuts very nice.

Overall good
It's a sharp, shiny (easy to clean and use), rigid- feeling knife in a manageable size. I like how the knife clicks in and out of the sheath. The belt clip broke, as it was all one piece of plastic with the sheath. So I can still put it in my pocket or bag, but not on my side.

I love this little knife!
I've got knives ranging from $10-$700 in my collection and this is officially my favorite for outdoor/bushcraft. Wicked sharp right out of the package, and like so many others have noted, exceptional edge retention. Don't know how I went this long without knowing about Morakniv, and now planning on getting every one in their collection.
