I have been having issues shaving with a typical wet razor, and I mostly shave my head because I am bald, yup i said it, bald. I'd like to first start off and say I have tried many concepts from many brands and including spending lots of money on the expensive shavers costing over 200 dollars. I must say even though I have pre existing red marks from the normal shaving, having ingrown hairs, and feeling irriation no matter what i did. Buying this Solimpia shaver has made me pretty happy, it's pretty fast and under 5 minutes to shave your head. I have also tried dry and wet shaves (pre shave oil only) with it, and it seems to do pretty well. It will delete the hair but like most electric shavers it will still feel like a days worth of growth on your head (like very light sandpaper). It isnt visible though, so you really look like you just shaved with a normal razor without visible hair. I must also say even with my sensitive skin, I feel no irritation from this shaver at all, wet or dry. Just remember to cut in small circular patterns. I have found out that works best in maximizing your time and cut. For the price of the shaver compared to others and the replacement magnetic blades being under 15 dollars, you can't go wrong with this one! I specifically chose this one for at home and on the go. You can use your cell phone charger to charge it, which is amazing. I have been shaving for over a week and it only dropped down from 99 to 65 from just 4 or 5 head shaves. I'd say the battery works well too. It seems to fit well in my small hands and does a pretty awesome job. The heads on the blades flex to contour of your head and the direction of the shave and I must say it's a life saver. Thanks for making this product affordable, because it surely competes against the multi hundred dollar shavers we have on the market today. If you shave your head, dont hesitate, i enjoy this product very much. Thanks again! PS, some people may find shaving around the ears with this shape being a little difficult, but it's not impossible, I normally look in the mirror and do it so I don't cut my beard off lol. I just tried it right of the box and will update my review if my impressions change, but here are my initial (exceptionally positive) thoughts. Value: not just “good for the money,” but far better than others regardless of price - the great reviews are real - and the refill blades are an incredible value compared with others (I cancelled my Groomie subscription after trying it) Performance: shaved my head exceptionally well right out of the box even though it’s been five days since my last razor shave - slightly not quite as close as a razor shave but as good as anything other than that - and I don’t think a razor shave would have been closer without rinsing it excessively Quality: solid device - plastic but well-designed - and metal where the parts should be metal Ease: extremely easy to hold and doesn’t put too much pressure on any of the blades like some others that makes them hard to handle or fall out of the shaver when using them Cleaning: the one piece head is easy to remove and clean unlike others that require you to open and clean each blade set individually Battery: full-shave of my head after five-day growth took only 7% battery power UPDATE: Still awesome. Cuts really close, nearly BBS - even better with Williams Lectric Shave. Easier to clean than I’d thought: underneath the blade layer, the hairs are mostly together and very easy to dump out. Battery still strong at 70% after multiple shaves. Just ordered an extra one and a case to keep one charged in my travel kit - and an extra blade set just because. ANOTHER UPDATE: do you happen to remember the old Remington shaver ads where the guy said, “I liked it so much I bought the company.” I get it, and if I could, I might buy this company. Since my last review I broke the replacement head by cleaning it too hard, but that was on me. But… I got a professional straight blade head shave two days ago and just now slowly shaved my head again with this shaver: surprisingly it’s just as BBS as was the straight shave! I love this thing, but that’s probably abundantly clear by now.

I bought this because someone said they used it for their legs. I love how safe it feels and how easy it comes apart with the magnets. It's not too loud. It shaves pretty close, but not close enough for me. I still feel stubble that irritates my skin. Also, I had to pre-trim my long leg hair before it would do it's job. Otherwise, it's great. I'm sure it works well for bald heads.

Its a rare product these days sold at a fair price, yet delivers a very powerful punch. This little guy performs like a much bigger guy. Its easy to hold, and performs well. I liked my first one so much, I bought a second one three days later. I'll use one at home, the other when I travel. Both devices arrived in perfect condition, and fully charged. Both, after use, recharged very rapidly. However, I'm waiting to see how well the battery holds up to daily usage. Other than that, if the battery performs well, this is the perfect electric razor. By the way, the item cleans easily after each use. The magnetic attaching system, along with the easy removability factor, earns this sweet, little baby my hearty; 1,000% endorsement. The little electric shaver that can and does. The little shaver still performing well two weeks into it's early life.

I am very content with this purchase. Gives a nice, smooth shave. You may have to go over it more than once, but it delivers a nice clean, smooth shave.

Very good machine

This thing is the cadillac of head shavers. If you're bald / balding / shaving your head for whatever reason, this thing is the most convenient option to do so, and to get a close shave with minimal effort. Honestly, this could even be used to get a really close shave of the face, and deliver on that shave really well. Let me break this down for you: 1) It looks great, so even carrying it around with you, on trips, stashing at the office, whatever is absolutely possible. 2) The battery life is pretty killer. I bought this a couple weeks ago, and it's still running on the same out-of-the-box charge, with use every alternate day. 3) It takes about 5minutes to get a really close shave, assuming I'm going over my whole head, and assuming I let my hair grow out a fair amount. I'd say I leave it to grow to about 4mm (yes, I actually used callipers to check) and that took 5mins to get to a completely smooth head. 4) The device itself glides comfortably across the head, and doesn't get at all caught or leave any cuts. During my first use, I actually felt like I got sold a dud because it didn't feel like the shaver was doing anything at all except buzzing gently on my head. That is until I noticed how much it actually took off. 5) It is extremely worth buying at the current sales price (at the time of this review), and I would pay anything up to Rs. 1,500/- for this, not a penny more (only because I'm cheap). 6) It is also extremely comfy in the hand, and its shape makes it very easy to palm while shaving, giving you the appropriate pressure and ease of use needed, even around the scalp. The only place I found mild issues with the circular form factor was around the ear, looping to the front, and that's because my beard starts from there, with a slight fade and taper. 7) It collects the hair beneath the shavers, and is openable by gently pulling on the plastic tabs on the side, due to being attached magnetically. Once you open it, you can shake out the hair collected. The beauty of this system is that you could basically shave your head at the office, at your desk, or in the car, because there's no external hair fall. What I will caution you to do is maybe use the brush provided to get the hair out of the crevices every couple times, or it could build up and block the system. I would say this, it's a great purchase. 100% recommend you try it. Bought for my spouse. He says it's one of the best shaves he's gotten f rom an electric shaver, both on his face and his head. No random hairs being pulled, battery lasts through 4-5 daily full shaves, and charges really fast. Hopefully it lasts, even though the price is great.

This is an AMAZING product. I used Bombay Shaving Company head shaver extensively before and bought the Solimpia product a month back. This has one extra blade compared to BSC. I typically take about 5 mins for a 2 days stubble with Solimpia compared to 15 mins on BSC. The main difference between both is the dome shape - BSC faces outside whole Solimpia is inside, which is better suited for the head shape. The battery size / capacity is much much better on Solimpia. Even after using 4-5 times, it still shows 84% remaining. BSC would have warranted a recharge by now. Another big advantage with Solimpia is the "Type C" charger so I don't have to worry about carrying the cable while travelling / misplacing it. I can use my mobile charger for charging Solimpia as well. Infact I bought Solimpia only because I happened to misplace the BSC specific charger and I couldn't find to buy one online either.

Incredible product for the price. It's a razor-level shave in a quarter of the time. High quality purchase.
