I've been using this for 6 months. There's a slight learning curve. If you wear this wrong, it will be painful, so placement is key. It should wrap snugly around your natural waist/lower back and provide lumbar support. The seat should rest just in front of your hip and it will be lower than the waist strap under baby's weight. If you put it on and it's putting strain on your whole body, take it off and try again!! This carrier is ONLY suitable for a baby who is sitting up independently. You will need to keep your arm around baby, which is easy to do. Baby's shoulder is tucked in your armpit and he can easily nap on your shoulder/chest. ❤️ As with any carrier, you will eventually get tired since you're still carrying baby's weight, but it should be distributed comfortably and allow you to hold baby for much longer! I adore that this is a carrier, diaper bag, and purse, all in one. My wiggly 25lb baby can go from floor to hip 100 times an hour, as he desires, without fussing with any straps. I carry my phone, wallet, keys, a teether, extra diapers, pack of wipes (1/4 full), and a 4oz bottle of milk in this carrier, and bring literally nothing else. It's great. The black color goes with any outfit, and always gets questions and compliments from strangers who are amazed. I do feel a little silly wearing a saddle when baby isn't sitting in it (for example, if dad is carrying him) but it's so worth it to not need to carry any additional items. This would be an amazing gift for any mom of babies/toddlers, or as a gift to yourself. Buy it!

Love this thing! The wide waist band distributes weight evenly. My C section is 7 months into this purchase, but it isn't agitated at all! Has been great for things from quick errands to walks around the neighborhood. Best baby purchase so far! The buckle has a lock mechanism, which I appreciate. Baby stays perfectly seated, inward or outward facing, with assistance from one of my arms to hold close. I have an old shoulder injury, and lost muscle tone from pregnancy and post partum. Therefore my shoulder is acting up again. Every shoulder assisted carrier has agitated my old injury. This has been the best solution until I can get muscle tone back. Additionally, used it for breastfeeding in public, and having this hold my baby up comfortably was the BEST! No shoulder agitation. Baby fell asleep on it after nursing. Very active lifestyle, and this hip carrier plays into our active life very well! It has storage for short trips, but because there are no shoulder straps, I can toss a cross body bag or diaper bag backpack on without this carrier being in the way! I have had men and women compliment this carrier. Saying they wish it had been around when their babies were little, and want to get it for any family that is expecting!
