Feels sturdy enough. I think you'd be trying to remove a cassette that'd been screwed on far too tightly before this would break.Can't help but feel for what these tools actually are, they're quite expensive.

I used this to change my bike cassette no problems, looks plenty strong enough to me. If used as intended it should last note the securing ring on the cassette should be tightened to 40 newton metres so you should not have to resort to extension bars on this tool for removal or tightening the cassette securing ring.

Was concerned that this might not work too well on my 11 speed cassettes. On arrival the packaging stated 7-10 speed, which didn’t help. Decided to try it and replace it’s chain with some old 11 speed chain if need be. I needn’t have worried as the whip secured to cassette straight away without issue and worked flawlessly.

Worked perfectly and made the HG500 cassette removal easy, even though it needed a bit of force to release the hub. I used with the shimano hub remover and worked well together. I am glad I went for the handled versions, much sturdier and easier to use.
