I e seen a lot of oyster shells in my lifetime but never as beautiful and ornate as these…Absolutely gorgeous

Not worth it! Buy fresh oysters for an $1 each and have double the amount. These r not all deep tops they r mostly the thin bottom of a shucked oyster shell. Only 11deep shells r in the box. Any many were broken.

I ordered the medium size 3"-4" oyster shells for crafting. I have decoupaged some and painted others. I had been promising my 6 year old great granddaughter to make some shell crafts with her and didn't find the right shells at the beach to do it, so these worked great for that. There are 30 shells in the box and I can tell they have been cleaned. I did rinse and dry them before using them as they seemed to have a powder residue on them. There was no odor though. Some of the shells were very flat ones while others were curved more. Having a variety, allowed me to make different looking crafts with them which was nice. Only a few looked worn to where it might show when done. Overall, I am very happy with these shells and they work well for crafts.

13 concave (1 damaged) and 17 flats. I know the description said mixed, but not mixed evenly.5 of the flats were weirdly shaped or both sides were not pretty for a project. TheI can't recommend this box set. 1 concave and 5 flats I won't use for art projects and gifts. I took a chance cuz the price was good. But the 6 that don't look good/ damaged, I wouldn't have picked them up for free if I walked a beach.The 12 concave are very nice in shape, color, depth, and about 4 inches big (that's why 3 stars). If I would have gotten 15 nice concave shells, then the price would have been worth what I paid for the box. If you're buying these to make wedding favors or ring dishes, you probably want to reconsider since it is a gamble what kind of shell you'll get.

i only received 27 shells but it was suppose to come with 30. Also, they were not packed properly so there were a few broken.

This is a Wonderful set of shells, perfect for the project I am planning on doing. The shells are all roughly the same size, and they are exactly what is mentioned in the ad: 3" to 4" oyster shells.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the packaging: there was enough bubble wrap to neatly wrap up these shells carefully, rolled up safely. But if they started their journey carefully wrapped, they didn't end their journey this way: they were all rolling around together as a group in the plastic (see last image for reference). This loose packaging situation created quite a bit of shell crumb: where they had rubbed or knocked up against each other, creating lots of shell bits.Since I'm using these as a craft, I do wish a bit more care had been taken with protecting these shells. But the shells themselves, overall are great. I'm thrilled to have them.

My first was great....30 pieces as described!Second order 25 pieces as ordered, 5 smaller shells!Todays shipment was about 25 pieces as ordered and 4 or 5 tiny shells

A little disappointed, most of the shells in the package were flat. Was hoping for deeper shells but there were only 5 out of all 30 pieces.
