Pre Shave Powder Stick

Purchased to replace a previous one that ran out.I tend to switch between shaving with my electric shaver or wet shaving with a safety razor.Of late I've been reaching for the electric shaver more as I badly cut my lip the last time I wet shaved so decided to take a break from that.This powder makes electric shaving very smooth, a little goes a long way so don't be too over vigorous either dab it directly onto your face then spread it with your finger tips or rub it into your palm then apply it to your face.You may need to clean your shaver more frequently with this as if you do over apply it it will clog up in the shaver head.I have a Panasonic shaver that is wet/dry so I tend to rinse it out after each shave to keep it clean and ensure a good quality shave.

In a bid to provide more care to my face, I bought this product after reading about it somewhere on the net. It has lasted me about six months on a reduced every other day shaving regiment.It's very easy to use, just rub over your face and shave. It can make a bit of a mess, so you have to shave before getting dressed. It does make the shave feel smoother, especially in more clammy weather. Unfortunately I didn't really think about the consequences of using this and after a relatively short time the junk that it leaves behind in your shaver had completely destroyed the sensors on my automatic cleaning bath for my shaver. I can no longer get it to sense liquid in the bath.I completely dismantled my shaver's head to give is a proper clean out and man, it's tough. This stuff doesn't like getting washed away. It had completely filled up the heads despite washing it after every use in the cleaner (until it packed up).If you have the luxury to clean out your heads by hand after each use, then this is a nice to have product, albeit on the pricey side.

This product is brilliant.I have sensitive skin and even sweaty summer shavings made easier. Also long lasting. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased my first electric shaver (it's a Braun Series 3) and I thought I'd try some of these electric shaving products.I tried an alcohol based lotion before that and I had mixed feelings. I was much more impressed with this powder.It makes the shaver glide a lot more smoothly on your skin. Particularly, if your face is slightly hot and sweaty. I found that this can be a real issue during the summer months. This absorbs any moisture from your face and makes the shaving experience much more pleasant.It may seem a little messy but it's actually not. You don't beed to go overboard with it. Just a small amount will do. You can spread it evenly it with your hands. It is a little crumbly though. Due to the way mine was handled during shipping a large piece of it just fell off when I first opened it.The main ingredient is talc here so you don't get any stinging or a strong alcohol smell. It has a pretty light fragrance to it which I like. It won't really last especially if you wash your face afterwards. That's good in my opinion because I don't like scents that are too strong. It also won't clash witch an aftershave if you use one.In addition to the fragrance, it has a slight cooling effect. It says it has menthol in it on the label.The one negative I can think of is that it clogs up the shaver with powder. I don't know if this will affect its performance. These kind of products have been around fo a while so I assume they know what they are doing. Still, I feel like I should wash it an applying oil to the blades more often when I use this powder.

I was very happy that it arrived so swiftly and I am so happy that I found this product in the first place.FYI, Not only useable for your face for a nice good comfortable shave.My skin is very sensitive. It makes a big difference.No skin irritation, smells comfortableAlso sometimes if to much applied use your hands first to thin out a bit more the aloe Vera powder.Easy to apply and just push up the stick more when more is needed.

It gives a smooth shave, but beware not to apply too much force as it is very crumbly.

This item doesn’t work, it’s suppose to give the skin a dry and smooth surface for dry shaving however all it did was crumble when trying to apply it to my face, I won’t be using it again.

Works very well, but slightly damaged (or perhaps just too soft) powder stick means high consumption when applying.
