Buying art supplies can be risky online.I wanted a set of hard pastels to give to a good artist friend. We have painted together for years and years(like 25 years). We needed a change of pace, though. We decided we would buy each other the materials for our next projects.This is what I got her. This is a large set and probably is more than you’d want if a beginner. The hardness on the pastels is perfect. It is important that the pastels don’t dust themselves away. Blending sticks and gum erasers work well with these pastels. The pigments are rich, true colors that transfer to good paper without dust getting into the lighter colors of a picture. Cleaning these up is much easier than with soft pastels. A quick spray of hairspray or clear gloss will hold the pigment on paper. I love the wide variety of shades and hues. If I replace my older pastels for new ones,this is the set I will get . These are Not cheap art supplies.They are high quality pastels that every artists deserves to own.

My husband taught art for 45 years at all levels. We ordered this chalk for a church-community class. The price is reasonable, the order arrived in a timely fashion, and the chalk was of very good quality. Everyone enjoyed the class and the chalk extended much further than I anticipated. The colors are vibrant, and it was great to have the black and white pieces included.

I recently tried these and they are very soft and blend easily! I was happy with the price for the quantity. They are short but for the variety of colors- I will take it as I am a beginner.

I’m new to using pastels. These are great starter set. You do have to hold them at a particular angle to get them to work, but that may be how they all are. Either way, they are nice and pigmented and easy to smudge. I’m happy!

Nice selection of colors, but pastels are so soft they are difficult to use. They are also tiny. They are inexpensive but I wish I had paid a little more for a better product.

日本製パステルは ハードパステルなので粉状にしないと柔らかいボケにはなりませんが こちらはソフトタイプなので擦って広げることができます 人物や風景にも使えそうです ただ肌の色が少ない

Tampoco es que sean muy económicas que digamos pero se supone que son de calidad profesional. Yo las uso para hacer cuadros con técnica mixta de grafito cera y tiza y quedan muy bien. No ensucian ni manchan mucho. Mi recomendación es que si son para niños por el precio no merece la pena pero si es para uso de adultos están muy bien. Es una buena marca y tiene durabilidad en el tiempo una vez terminado el trabajo. Pigmentan muy bien entre sí y mezclan muy bien para hacer paisajes son geniales para difuminar. El envío rápido como siempre en Amazon sin problema, pero no me gusto como venían embaladas ya que es un producto frágil que parte con facilidad y venían con una bolsita de papel envueltas, me extraño porque Amazon normalmente usa caja de cartón pero esta vez han venido con una bolsa de papel muy frágil, es la única pega que tengo por lo demás todo bien. Por suerte no vino ninguna rota pero tener en cuenta que las envían bastante desprotegidas
