Refreshing Plot
I really enjoyed this book. The plot was different from most billionaire books I have read. I read it in one day because I was thoroughly immersed in the story. My only issues with it are that some points of the book skip in time by just one line in the same paragraph. For instance Jozi is talking to her cat in the apartment and in the next line is at a work. This happens a couple of times. My other wish would be a little longer ending. I was left wanting more, which is probably a good thing from the author's perspective.

Loving the boss.
I enjoyed the story, it was a little unique being her boss was also her favourite author whom she realised after snooping. Ending seemed a little rushed and not factual or realistic. She did a pregnancy test after being one week late in her period then says later she states it's a girl and looks forward to telling her mum she's giving her a granddaughter, ( this lists star in my review for being unbelievable) in fact on one page she's telling him she's pregnant, the next page it's her wedding day and her mum is wearing a matching dress to her baby whom her mum is holding. That I found frustrating.

Wow!
This book was so different from many with similar titles. It’s almost unfair because many may look past it. What a shame that would be. It’s nothing like them really. This is a sweet story with spice. It’s a breath of fresh air. I’m truly shocked and so thankful I didn’t pass it by. I hate to give spoilers so just read it for yourself!!

A True Page Turner
I loved the romance in the book. How you weren’t sure what Ian and Jozie knew about the other. I loved the self confidence Jozie had and her playful nature and how you were never quite sure what was going to happen next! I had to read it in one sitting because I didn’t want to put it down. Highly recommend!

Ian & Jozi
Jozi is starting a new job. Initially, she has been corresponding with her boss via email, but then when he arrives, she finds him rude and abrasive. They do not get along at all. Boss Ian is grumpy and just wants things done a certain way (he has reasons for being short with Jozi, not that she knows what they are). Jozi isn't sure that she wants to stay in the job, but after a talk with her mother, she decides to stay. She starts to push back against Ian a little bit and sparks fly between the two. Ian has been interested in Jozi for a while but wasn't sure what to do with his feelings. Things heat up between them, but there are secrets that threaten to end them forever.

Frustrating Characters
The premise of the book is interesting but the story itself is frustrating. The way the main character is written is immature, and lacks common sense. The story reads like a creative writing project and starts to feel rushed towards the end. It starts as if the main character has a close relationship with her mother but only speaks to her in the first chapter and the last. The main character is pen pals with an author for years and fell in love with with him but never really explained how much they know about each other. ****Spoiler Alert**** There were so many signs and clues the boss was her author pen pal but she still refused to believe it until she almost got caught snooping in the boss’s office. The author doesn’t give you a span of time until the main character finds out she pregnant and tries to calculate when she got pregnant which she says 2 weeks and it just so happens her period was 2 weeks late. No way this could happen unless you take pregnancy test every two weeks. Give me a break. Insert eye roll. I haven’t even started on the billionaire boss. It was as if the author was confused as to how they wanted the boss personality was going to be like. On the plus side, i didn’t abandon finishing the book like I have with others.

Loved IT!
Jozi is just starting at her dream job and is getting her footing in a new place. She loves this author's books and has been talking to the author via emails. When she starts work at her new job, she has some issues with her new boss and starts wondering if this isn't a fit for her. After talking with her mother, she decides to stick it out. Soon sparks are flying between her and Ian. Ian is slowly becoming intrigued by Jozi especially after he borrows a book from her of her favorite author. Its not long before things heat up between them. However, will a secret end things between them before they get a chance? This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
