Thank you to the authors for this book. I found it at a turning point and used it to honor my friends as they came to the same turning point in their life...becoming the ageless goddess queens of our own lives (read Dr. Chistiane Northrup for more info about being an ageless goddess!)It had great ideas for staging a birthday (though could be another day too) coronation. The friend for whom I had the coronation was so appreciative and she confided that she was feeling down about stepping into the next season of life and that being made "queen of all her domain" brought her back to feeling good about her future.

“Queen of Your Own Life” is a Keeper!
I’m a fan of Kathy Kinney’s work, so I checked this book out from the library expecting a quick, funny read. And the book delivered. But it *also* delivered an important message about leading the second half of your life with grace, confidence, and humor. About 1/3 of the way through, I returned the library book and bought my own copy. Then after I finished the book, I started reading it *again*. I want to fully absorb all of the insights that “Queen of Your Own Life” has to offer. Brava, Cindy and Kathy!

Excellent Book, an Actual Blessing in Life!
I love-love this book and have read it twice. The first time, while planning a 40th H.S. reunion all by myself. I can honestly can say there is no way I would have made it without this book; my self-esteem was no where to be found. I have given about six of these books as gifts. Very inspiring, positive, humorous and full of quotes that I continue to live by. We all have tons of self worth and this book is a huge example and reminder. The authors are real people who are easy to connect with and share endless Queenisms™. These two ladies are my best friends, in my head :) I highly recommend this book!

Anecdotes and nuggets of wisdom
There were days I badly needed this advice. I thank both authors for providing their personal stories, too. But the little nuggets of wisdom were sometimes just enough to kick me in the seat of my pants and get me going. Sometimes it's the little things that can help you through. Thanks, ladies, for the encouragement.

I am Queen
I had this book from the library and enjoyed the concept. Got a used copy on Amazon as it is a book I'd like to keep around for an occasional review and lift. I also like the companion book of daily Queenisms.

Wish I had this book 20+ years ago!
This quick read is teeming with insightful tidbits and chunks of realism that have now opened my eyes to how I view myself and the "things" I hold most dear. Kathy and Cindy share their experiences on life, love, happiness, and success, and provide not only an entertaining read but also practical exercises for the reader to evaluate and look within. I wish I had read something like this when I was 16/17 years old and I will be getting copies for family and friends, as this will make a wonderful Christmas gift for the other "Queens" in my life - especially my inner circle of Ladies in Waiting. Get it, buy it, read it, live it."Be generous, kind, loving, and brave." So sayeth the Queen.
