I love this product
I love this product. The only down side is the latch pin for the trailer did not fit my camper latch. I did not deuct stars because it is my fault and did not do the proper research on my end. The pin was not long enough to go all the way through to the other side of my trailer latch. Product is well made and the receiver pin worked as promised and is sturdy. Just make sure if your buying this for a camper it fits before you purchase.

High Quality and 1 less key I have to carry
I bought this for a 1700 mile trip and well... nobody stole my boat, so that's good. I had no problems installing these parts and they appear to be high quality. I only wish Reese made the trailer lock to fit my trailer with brakes. This lock will work on the style of brake that requires a long (like 3" long) pin that goes thru the coupler. What I did was just locked it on one side. This was enough to prevent the coupler from opening and also there was no interference when making turns.

Great product... poor thinking
The locks that Reese make are very dependable and built tough. The combo set is awesome with a good price. Although I feel secure that the locks will do their job, Reese did not really think this through when it came to the locking pin that secures the hitch to the vehicle. I have a Toyota Tundra and the pin is about 1/2 to 1 inch to short... and this product is now useless. Either they need to start selling the product at different lengths to accommodate the different vehicles or if they already do, then they need to mark it on the box/case it comes in so that everyone else will know that differnt sizes exist. If it wasn't for this issue I'd rate this a 5 all the way.

Best kit for a receiver and trailer you use most often.
I recently purchased a utility trailer and found this a great option to keep track of a lesser amount of keys. I keep one on my vehicle key ring and the other with all my trailer/storage keys. The locks are very easy to use and I have had no issues after nearly a year of use. I do keep a light layer of electrical grease inside the cap so the lock mechanisms do not lock up in the rain or freeze in the winter.

Disappointing, Really Disappointing
I was shopping for both a hitch and a trailer lock and found this combo deal on Amazon. I bought both this item and a set of 3 keyed alike round padlocks for the trailer doors. I was astonished when this double lock set came with only two keys. I was enraged when I discovered that the keys were proprietary and can be bought for $10 each if you want additional spare keys beyond the two that come with it. I only paid roughly twice the spare key price for the combo lock set. To put this in perspective, the 3 keyed alike round locks came with 2 keys for each lock, so I got 6 identical keys with the 3 locks. This is pretty industry standard for everyone BUT Reese Towpower. If one of my round locks goes somewhere else with a friend, he or she can have 2 keys If I decide to use the receiver lock on one car and the trailer hitch lock elsewhere, or someone borrows the trailer, I have ONLY the 2 keys and am left with no spares. I contacted Reese Towpower about this problem and got no response from their 'customer service'. I will probably NOT be buying any other Reese Towpower products ever, thank you very much.

Coupler Lock does not fit most couplers
The Receiver lock works great and definitely fits my truck’s Class IV hitch good. My truck has a 2inch receiver, measures 2.5in from each outside end and with the lock secured has about 1/4in of play. However, the small gap on the Coupler lock does not fit around my travel trailer coupler, making it unusable. Another 1/2in of space would be enough to fit well. I liked having the two locks in a kit keyed the same but will now have to find a different coupler lock.
