What a bargain!!
After discovering an issue with the ABS on my MK1 Cupra R with a diagnostic reader, I found this ABS Wheel Speed Sensor on Amazon and at a fraction of the price. The part itself seemed to be in very good condition and was an exact match for the part I removed from my motor.Happy days the problem now fixed and the ABS light now was able to be removed from dash lights.

Doesnât fit
Bad quality control, doesnât fit and seems very cheap. Returned for a refund and Iâll buy a proper part from Bosch

This new one was a bit too tight for the hole but I managed to file out the hole and it fitted like a glove
Had a few difficulties getting the old one out, but once I removed the disc I could bang it out from the other side. This new one was a bit too tight for the hole but I managed to file out the hole and it fitted like a glove. It finally put my ABS and airbag lights out on my MK4 golf.

Kind of fits Corrado VR6 (1995)
This is listed as fitting the VW Corrado but the brass standoff for the bolt is the incorrect size. On the Corrado (VR6 at least), the fitting bolt is an M8 (or as close to M8 as you can get), the brass standoff on this sensor is approx 6.2mm. As you can probably tell, an 8mm bolt will not fit through a 6.2mm hole. As I was already hot and sweaty from working on the car I decided to drill the hole out and make it larger .... easier said than done as all the brass insert wants to do is rotate as soon as the drill bit bites. So I bit in either side of the brass insert and then just filed it out and then used an 8mm tap to clean it up. Then I spent 10 minutes trying to clean all the metal filings off the frickin magnet. The usual Corrado experience. In summary, the actual sensor part fits in the Corrado hole well and sits at the correct distance from the ABS ring and the plug is the correct size/fitting, you will just have to spend 30 minutes making the bolt hole large enough for the M8 bolt that is used to secure it to the hub/knuckle.
