Great, well fitting cover
Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra/S9 Ultra/S8 Ultra 14.6 inch, 7-Colors Backlight Detachable Wireless Keyboard, Slim Protective Folio Case with S Pen Holder, Auto Sleep/Wake, BlueThe keyboard case comes simply packaged in a plain, recyclable cardboard box. My first impression of the box is that it was heavier than I thought it would be. Opening the top, the first thing inside is the user manual for the keyboard. I like that they put it on top, too many manufacturers make you dig to find the instructions. Underneath that is a short USBA to USBC charging cable for the keyboard. Then you have the keyboard itself in a plastic bag, with the cover and another plastic bag as well.Of the individual pieces, the cover is where the weight of the package came from. The cover itself is quite heavy, compared to the rest of the unit. The outside is a brilliant metalized, marbled blue color and inside is a full rubber case for the tablet, protected by the folding cover, and solidally attached. At first glance, there's nothing to hold the keyboard in when you fold the cover up. Upon closer examination, I found that there is a magnet or magnet{s} embedded in the inside of the cover because the keyboard is held in via magnetic attraction to the metallic back plate on the keyboard. The tablet locks securely into the upper portion of the case, and the way that it's designed, the tablet snaps into the rubber of the case, holding it in a similar way to that a phonecase would. The rubber snaps around quite securely, and in fact took a little bit of fiddling and pulling to get it on. The case leaves all of the ports open, with the have cutouts over them, the speakers, and the charge port; as well as a cutout over the power and volume buttons. In fact, the case guards the volume buttons, with them being in the slight depression of the thickness of the case, so you won't be hitting them accidentally. In the back of the cover, the cameras are exposed as well as the magnetic slot for the stylus to attach directly to the back of the tablet. Comparing the protection of this cover to the factory keyboard (which is available for an exorbitant cost from the manufacturer) the connection ports at the bottom of the tablet where it snaps into the OEM keyboard are covered, and where the factory keyboard cover securely holds in the stylus, with this one, the stylus is held merely by the magnetics when the case is in use, and the flap covers it when not being used. Since the keyboard does not physically snap into this tablet as the original cover does, you'll have to bind the keyboard to the tablet via Bluetooth. The keyboard layout would be compared to what I would call a compact laptop style, with no numpad. The upper portion of the keyboard is about a 2-in blank space where the battery is inside, save for a small bit in the upper right hand corner which is indicator lights for caps, lock, Bluetooth, and a power light. In addition, there is a sliding on off switch and a connect switch for the Bluetooth. These are in a slight recession in the upper right hand corner of the frame. On the right hand side near the top is a USBC port to charge the keyboard. Plugging it into charge, I noticed that the socket is a little tight to get the charge cord into. As soon as you have power to the keyboard, the red charge light comes on and glows solidly.Well that is on charge, time to take a look at the instruction booklet. The instruction booklet( or should I say folded sheet) doesn't have anything surprising in it and does have a couple of pieces of pertinent information. The red light that came on when I put in the charge cable will turn blue when the keyboard is fully charged. There are also some shortcut controls to the keyboard which are not immediately obvious, as well as some other shortcuts for the functions of the board, such as turning the light on and off, as well as different dimming levels for the backlight of the keys and another button to choose the color of the back lights. (The backlight feature is one of the reasons why I'm looking for an aftermarket keyboard rather than an OEM one- the OEM expensive keyboard does not have a backlight feature, a definite Miss to the manufacturer there.)There were a couple of interesting specifications in the instruction page. If the keyboard is unused for 20 minutes, it will turn back off. You can turn it on by pressing any button and waiting a couple of seconds. Standby time on a charged keyboard is 300 days when not in use, and a full charge time is 3 hours. Claim a working time of 10 hours with the backlight and 100 hours without the backlight. The battery life is 400 charge cycles, which to me sounds a bit low in number, since the battery in this has to be very similar to one and a cell phone which has a much longer lifespan. [does that mean the manufacturer doesn't plan for a long lifespan?] The battery cannot be removed from the keyboard without destroying it, so when the battery gives up, the keyboard is fubar. When using just the case, I found that it does have a group of indentations allowing you to set the tablet at an angle which is convenient to you for viewing and use. I use mine a lot for reading and such in bed, so thus far it's working all right for me.When putting the tablet away, the magnetics in the base do have enough pull to shut the tablet off when you close the cover. The flap at the end of the cover does have enough space to it that it closes over the edge and secures the stylus as well as covering the camera. It does have a little bit of an indentation I didn't notice at first for the stylus to set into when the cover is closed. The keyboard doesn't have any notification on the keys for the shortcuts such as the lighting and color changes. you'll have to refer to the tiny fold out for the shortcuts. with that large blank space at the top of the keyboard, it would have been helpful for the manufacturer to print the shortcuts in that negative space that's not being used. for me, that's where I plan on taping the shortcuts for my own personal use.

Fits everywhere.
This case with keyboard is a great product. The battery life of the keyboard is impressive, lasting about a week on a single charge. I carry it with me everywhere I go, and it provides excellent protection for my tablet. The price is also very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the money. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Not what I was looking for
Nicely looking case, but pretty heavy. Tablet is not detachable. These were things that were important to me. Had to return.

weak battery, disconnects a lot.
Battery doesnt hold charge for very long. It appears that once the battery is about 20% charge left, it randomly disconnects and reconnects while in the middle of typing. I went a head and order the Samsung keyboard as it pulls power from the tablet and does not require a bluetooth connection to work.Other than that the keyboard works as it should.

Perfect tab folder
First of all you can't beat the price of this tab 9 ultra folder. The quality is excellent. The S pen holder is quite convenient with a durable keyboard.

Nice Case, Small Keyboard
What can't the keyboard be the same size as the Tablet Case?
