This was obviously an impulse purchase (haha) but holy guacamole is this the squishy banana to buy! It looks SO REAL. The quality is legitimately outstanding. Whatever you may be considering purchasing this novelty for….just know, you’ll be delighted with the quality.

This stress toy is a real laugh. I've seen videos of similar ones online and knew I wanted one at some point, I have a weird fascination with fake plastic foods made to look extra realistic like this.Visually it's not 100% dead ringer for a real banana but it's about as close as you could reasonably expect in this price range. There's quite a lot of texture, though it looks to be molded based on a hand carved model with close examination, not that this is a real problem as you REALLY have to look at it to notice this. At a glance, this is a banana. The peel even has a lot of little brown flecking/bruising, though, the paint from it didn't apply on one corner of the bottom breaking the illusion a bit. The edges of the peels are also completely smooth with even curved ends. I'm really just nitpicking here though. It looks great for the asking.The external peel is a soft, pliant texture and the fruit inside is similar but filled with a thick gooey substance that makes it extra unusual and fun to squeeze and squish. I do find myself worrying it's going to burst if squeezed to hard as it likes to find a weak point and bulge out there more than elsewhere, but I think it will survive most reasonable play without issue.The biggest issue is that, like many other squishy rubbery toys like this, it smells diabolically bad. In my experience it usually takes upwards of a week or three for this to go away, and I guess I'll see how it goes with this one.Beyond the stink, I think this banana stress toy is an absolute steal, if you find it as amusing as I do anyway.

This product is faulty and a waste of money. Do not purchase. It is sticky and leaked gross goop everywhere.

The right fit

I love this banana stress toy. The details on the banana and the skin, both inside and out, are very realistic looking. It squishes nicely, providing an excellent sensory experience. It is a slow rising squishy that returns to its normal state nicely. I can also stretch it out well over 12-inches. I like that it isn’t sticky at all and doesn’t leave any residue on my fingers. The only thing is that it does have a fairly strong chemical small initially and it took 5 days for the smell to dissipate. But it did, completely, and now it is perfect. It’s just something to keep in mind if you’re planning to gift this item.

PROS:- The banana looks pretty realistic, especially from afar. I like that it is textured and has small dark specks along the peel.- It squishes nicely and reverts back to its original size after a few seconds.- It's fun to play with and good for pranking people.CONS:- I would prefer the peel to be more yellowy instead of orangey to make it look more realistic.- The banana is a little shorter than most bananas that I buy in real life; would prefer it to be longer for more realism.- It has a slight artificial odor, which personally doesn't bother me but might bother others.

Bought this for a theatre show. I grab the end to break off a piece and the banana stretches nearly 20 centimetres. Gets a good laugh. Looks real. Left it on my dining table and the wife nearly took a bite!
